The growth of demat accounts in India post covid period is booming every passing year.
In the western and northern states of the country there was steady growth in recent years.
But now we can see amazing growth in the north-eastern states of the country alongside states like Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jammu & Kashmir where people were not much aware about investing.
The growth rate over these regions was nearly 50% on YoY basis. And the overall growth in our country was about 30% accounting for nearly 17 crores of total registered demat accounts opened till date.
