Lohri is a significant festival in Indian culture, particularly in the northern regions .
Lohri marks the end of the winter solstice and the beginning of the harvest season. It celebrates the bounty of the land and the hard work of farmers.
Lohri is a time for socializing and bonding with family and friends.
The bonfire lit during Lohri is a symbol of the worship of fire, which is considered a sacred element in Hinduism!!

The Lohri celebration at SK Public School was a grand success. Students and teachers gathered around the bonfire, enjoyed traditional songs, dances, and sweets. They made wishes for sound health, happiness and prosperity. The highlight of the event was the distribution of traditional Lohri sweets and snacks, including gajjak and rewri.

“ *Every Champion Was Once A Contender That Refused To Give Up.”*

The annual Sports Day at SK PublicSchool was a resounding success, filled with excitement and energy! Students and teachers gathered to celebrate this momentous occasion.

The day kicked off with a vibrant march past, showcasing students dressed in their respective house uniforms. The atmosphere was electrified as students participated in various track and field events.

The tug-of-war competition was a highlight, with intense rivalry between houses.

80 Gold ,90Silver and 90 Bronze Medals were awarded to the winners, acknowledging their hard work and dedication. The event's success was a testament to the collective efforts of students, teachers.

In addition, Special Trophies for Best Performer, Best Player, Man of the Match, were given to the different Houses.

National Pollution Control Day is observed on December 2nd every year to commemorate the lives lost in the Bhopal Gas Tragedy, one of the world's worst industrial disasters. This tragedy occurred on the night of December 2-3, 1984.

To mark this day, NCC Cadets of SK Public School conducted cleaning of water bodies, promoting a cleaner environment and encouraging sustainable management of resources. This initiative is part of the government's efforts to raise awareness about pollution and encourage people to take action to protect the environment.
