Green Champs Winter Camp : An experience of Bharat

Date: 25 -27 December 2024
Age group : 7-13
Place : Junnar

Activities :

• Story Telling about Farming
• Agriculture fun games through which exposure of the food can be covered.
• Farm Walk
• Meeting with farmers to have one to one interaction.
• Group discussion about farming, food & its ecosystem.
•Farm Meditation

•Black buck sighting
• Folk dance event

Prehistoric geo-heritage site visit- TEFRA (75000 yrs old volcanic deposit) and Trek to Shivneri fort
Village Tour- School, weekly market, dairy cooperative
• Rural life museum visit
• Participating in farm work.

Food
• Healthy, non-spicy, home cooked, delicious local cuisine
· Drinking water is filtered water.

Accommodation
In cottages made up with natural material like sugarcane thatch, bamboo etc. · Accommodation is on sharing basis

Charges :
Rs.5500 /per child which includes all meals, activities stay and Travel from Thane

Trey Garden Workshop

Green champs is conducting workshop for kids on Trey or Miniature Garden.
