Omprakash Shahi started his career in the auditing and accounting industry having had rich experience of internal and statutory audit of well-known firms in steel, engineering and textiles. He has had the experience to head the accounts division of a large multifunctional business unit having interest in hotels, restaurants and real estate. He has independently handled projects, liaisons with banks and financial institutions. His interest in the capital market was honed having worked with leading category-I merchant banking company having managed new issues, right from drafting prospectus to underwriting to listing on the stock market. His entrepreneurial journey began in the year 2000 with the establishment of Nidhi Consultants by partnering with Angel Broking. Today, he is also on the board of DOR Management Consultants, a firm engaged in International Business Development and Management Consulting services in mining and metal, fertilizers and petro-chemical industries.
