iworxs by Palnar celebrated its 25th anniversary on 7th of October 2023 in Trivandrum. It was a momentous milestone that reflected the dedication, hard work, and passion of our entire team, as well as the support of our valued customers and partners.

From our humble beginnings to where we are today, it has been a journey of pain, pleasure, growth, innovation and triumph. We have overcome very many challenges, embraced several changes and consistently delivered high-quality products/services to our clients.

On this remarkable occasion of our 25th anniversary, we want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our special guests Ms. Sindhu Gangadharan, MD and SVP SAP Labs India, Mr. Achim Burkart, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr. Vijayaraghavan, Founder CEO of Technopark, Col Sanjeev Nair, CEO of Technopark, Mr. Anoop Ambika, CEO of Kerala Startup Mission, Mr. Sreekumar V, Centre head of Tata Elxsi Secretary Gtech, Mr. Werner Weiss, CEO of Insiders Technologies, who have added an extra layer of joy and warmth to our celebrations. At the event, our CEO Mr. Sandip Gopakumar invited the guests to the dais and the Founder Director Mr. Sreejith Narayan welcomed the guests to the event and our Founder Director Dr. Syed Ibrahim delivered the vote of thanks. Mr. Sreejith Narayanan unveiled the new logo under the brand name iworxs by Palnar. Dr. Syed eloquently expressed our gratitude towards all our guests, team members, partners, and supporters who have played an unique role in our expedition. Both directors also acknowledged the efforts and contributions of those who stood by us through the thick and thin.

The celebration was made even more special by the enthralling performance of the band Trio Banaras. Their mesmerizing tunes added a touch of magic to our evening. It was followed by a line-up of mind-blowing dance performances by our team members.

We crossed Quarter Century...
Perhaps we are the first start-up from Kerala, as we set sailing in 1998. When we started under the name Palnar Transmedia Private Limited 25 years ago, we never thought of touching this magical milestone. Today, with our own development centers in Germany, USA and in 3 different locations in India, we stand together as a family to celebrate this joyous moment.

Im Rahmen seiner Indien Reise besuchte der Bundesminister Hubertus Heil gestern als Erstes unser iworxs Entwicklungszentrum im Technopark Trivandrum in Kerala. Es war ein besonderer Moment, da es der erste Besuch eines Bundesministers in Kerala war. Mit großem Stolz durften wir von iworxs als erstes deutsch/indisches Unternehmen Minister Heil in unseren Räumlichkeiten begrüßen. Dabei hatten wir die Gelegenheit zu einem regen Austausch zwischen dem Bundesminister und unseren Entwicklern und Studenten. Im Zentrum dieses Austauschen stand insbesondere das iworxs Projekt bridged-it.
bridged-it soll dabei als Brücke für indische IT-Fachkräfte für Unternehmen in Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz dienen indem durch gezielte Förderung und Zuwanderung dem extremen IT-Fachkräftemangel entgegengewirkt wird. In bridged-it durchlaufen die IT-Fachkräfte ein Culture-Fit Programm, indem sie eine Sprach- und Kulturausbildung in Indien vor ihrer Einreise nach Deutschland erfahren. So werden die Unternehmen mit qualifizierten und hoch motivierten indischen Mitarbeitern mit deutschen Sprachkenntnissen unterstützt, sowohl im Bereich IT Offshoring als auch mittels direkter Vermittlung.
Bundesarbeitsminister Heil konnte sich bei seinem Besuch selbst ein Bild von der Begeisterung und Motivation der Anwesenden für Deutschland machen.
Wir danken dem Minister und allen Beteiligten für diesen gelungenen Tag und freuen uns auf eine weitere noch engere Zusammenarbeit zwischen Indien und Deutschland.

Palnar reopens its renovated office space in Gayathri Building, Technopark.
After giving much thought, the final decision was made to stick to our current location, with a brand new design to address the futuristic requirements. With the help of our contractor Mr. Vinod, the design was refined with a practical layout that would fit the teams’ needs.
Palnar moved into its newly refreshed space on the 14th of April 2023. Most of us who had worked in the old office were awestruck by the total makeover the workspace went through. Founder Director Dr. Syed Ibrahim inaugurated the new office and he gratefully acknowledged the contributions of the Palnar colleagues and the trust of its clients to make this makeover a reality.

We are deeply saddened by hearing the demise of our former employee Nikhil Raj and his parents in an accident on 13th July 2022 near Enath, Adoor. He was a hard worker, a very good friend of everyone and not just within his team. We all will definitely miss him. The SAP BI / BW Developer plays a lead role in design, development, enhancement and support of SAP BW, BI 7.5(non HANA) solutions ensuring the system performs, is scalable and available. The person in this position is responsible for gathering requirements for the BI implementation taking into consideration future goals of the business, maintenance burdens, and overall IT solution architecture. This person will also develop, test, implement and support various BW InfoObjects, DSOs, InfoCubes, MultiProviders, etc. Knowledge of ABAP is required and knowledge SAC tool is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities include the following:

· Has a clear understanding of the BI product and functionality and remains current on BI product offerings and capabilities (including Business Objects)

· Ensures cost effective BI design, development, and integration with other systems

· Ensures that the BI system is scalable and always available

· Ensures alignment with company goals and adherence to (and continued development of) corporate standards for data warehousing

· Develops and provides a clear understanding of the BI data model and strategies for data modeling and acts as the main point of contact for all data model and system-design decisions

· Incorporates performance standards into the design of BI

· Participates in the corporate data archiving strategy and implementation

· Leads efforts to analyze and translate business requirements and functional specifications into technical specifications, data flow diagrams and data models

· Creates, enhances and implements extractors, transformations, process chains and load procedures needed to populate Info Objects in BW

· Uses strong BI skills to create and implement InfoObjects, DSOs, InfoCubes, InfoSets and MultiProviders

· Ability to program and to coordinate programming of ABAP to complete design where necessary

· Documents design, both from a functional and a technical standpoint (assists with user documentation/training as needed)

· Possesses a good understanding of available BI Business Content (predefined standard content)

· Unit-tests BI system and works with various parties involved to achieve sound integration tests and end user acceptance testing

· Verifies data quality and ensures BI is in sync with the source systems

· Possesses proficiency in standard BI reporting tools including BEx Analyzer, BEx Web Analyzer, Web Application Designer, Portal and SAC

· Tracks, troubleshoots, and escalates product issues and works directly with SAP identifying and resolving "bugs" and requesting improvements in functionality

· Communicates potential problems proactively and effectively , recommends solutions and progress

· Supports IT in other projects as needed

· Provides support as needed to maintain the performance, integrity and reliability of BI system. Provide technical support of BI system (shared responsibility across all BI team members) by

· Monitoring and tuning data loads

· Monitoring performance

· Communicating functional and technical issues

· Addressing user questions concerning data integrity

The VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau – German Engineering Federation) is a network of more than 3,348 engineering industry companies in Germany making it one of the largest and most important industrial associations in Europe with over 450 industry experts.

Wishing you all a Very Happy and Prosperous Onam.

Yet another Virtual Onam celebration at PALNAR.

Due to the extended pandemic situation, we had to go Online for Onam celebration this time as well. Our Founder Directors Dr. Syed Ibrahim and Mr. Sreejith Narayan together with our CEO Mr. Sandip Gopakumar had an interactive session with all our colleagues and wished them all a Very Happy and Prosperous Onam. Palnar continued its tradition of sending gifts, “Onakodi”, to its colleagues.
This time it was sent together with a Sweet box from GANESHAM, a cultural Centre in the capital city by Mr. Soorya Krishnamoorthy. On this initiative, the entire amount collected will go the Artists community of Kerala, theatre artists, light and sound technicians, make up artists, set workers etc, for being jobless and living in poverty and hunger for the last 16 months due to the Covid pandemic.

Requirements
Sound knowledge of Android and iOS application fundamentals. Must have at least 4 years of experience in building mobile applications and minimum 2 years in Flutter.
Have understanding of different architectural patterns (esp. MVC,MVVM, BLOC) and their testability.
Should be able to build custom packages in Flutter using the functionalities and APIs already available in native Android and IOS.
Must have work experience with Flutter SDK and Dart programming language.
Strong knowledge on Flutter widgets like Cupertino for iOS and Material Components for Android.
Knowledge on git and continuous integration.
Be familiar with REST APIs.
General knowledge of Location Services, Maps, and other common Android/IOS libraries.
Firebase: Should have experience with Cloud Firestore, Push Notifications, Cloud Functions and Analytics.

Experience with project setup from scratch (Building network + Data Layers).
