Everybody is aware of the fact that Domestic Flights in INDIA has resumed from 25th May but few know that every State has its own SOP (standard operating procedure) to handle passengers arriving in their State.
If you are planning to travel (I know it would be emergency only), it is very important to go through the information before you book the ticket as
GOA IS ASKING FOR MANDATORY COVID 19 NEGATIVE CERTIFICATE
whereas ASSAM IS SENDING PASSENGERS TO MANDATORY INSTITUTIONAL QUARANTINE.
Here's WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU FLY into various states:
Assam
20 to 32 flights will land daily at Guwahati
Every air traveller arriving in Assam will be quarantined except those who declare their intentions to go back on the same day.
Every passenger will be screened by a doctor, who will collect their history and their swab samples for tests.
Seven days in institutional quarantine and next seven days in home quarantine after tests results are negative. But if doctors advise then one may have to spend few more days in institutional quarantine even if they have tested negative.
Pregnant women, people above 75 years of age, physically challenged, people with children below 10 years of age, people who have come to visit their parents or immediate family members who are in hospitals and people coming to attend the last rites of their parents or immediate family members are exempted from institutional quarantine but not from 14 days home quarantine.
Bihar
34 flights will operate from Patna airport on Monday.
Domestic travellers will be placed in home quarantines, while international travellers can use institutional quarantine.
Travellers will be put on “paid quarantine” for 14 days.
Delhi
Around 80 flights flying in and out of the Delhi have been cancelled on the first day of flight operations resumption.
No quarantine, Arogya Setu essential for those coming to Delhi.
Compulsory thermal screening at the entry as well as exit point of the airport and those found symptomatic will be isolated and taken to the nearest health facility.
Goa
13 flights are scheduled to land in Goa
Only those people, including air travellers, carrying the COVID-19 negative certificate from authorised laboratories would be allowed to enter without testing.
Others will have to get themselves tested for COVID- 19 by paying INR 2000. Those who don't want to be tested will have to stay in home quarantine for the next 14 days
Jammu & Kashmir
All incoming passengers will have to undergo institutional quarantine for a fortnight
Karnataka
Bengaluru expects 215 flights - 108 departures and 107 arrivals
Passengers from Maharashtra, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh would need to undergo a seven-day institutional quarantine, followed by home quarantine.
Home quarantine of 14 days would be necessary for the passengers coming from other states.
All incoming persons should obtain an e-pass from Karnataka's Seva Sindhu portal.
Kerala
Kerala government has made it mandatory for all people coming from other states to remain under home quarantine for 14 days from the date of arrival.
The state dispensation also made it compulsory for such travellers to register their details on COVID-19 Jagratha portal after obtaining flight tickets.
Maharashtra
Flights to Mumbai will be limited beginning with 50 flights (25 pairs)
Six hours before the arrival of each flight, Mumbai airport will need to submit a passenger manifest containing detailed contact addresses and mobile numbers of all the arriving passengers to the municipal commissioner.
Airlines have to verify the addresses of its passengers and ensure they are not from containment zones.
All arriving passengers will be hand-stamped for 14 days' home isolation
Punjab
All air travellers bound for Punjab shall be tested for Covid-19 upon their arrival at the Chandigarh airport and then home quarantined for 14 days.
Rajasthan
20 flights were scheduled for the first day at the Jaipur airport, but 11 of them have been cancelled.
The state has issued 14-day home quarantine must for flyers
Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu government has demanded for capping of incoming services to Chennai to 25 per day with flights from Gujarat and Maharashtra to be kept at the barest minimum level.
There will be no restrictions on the Covai, Madurai and Trichy sectors.
A total of 16 flights are scheduled to arrive in Chennai through the day on Monday, while 19 outbound services were scheduled from the city.
Asymptomatic people shall undergo home quarantine for 14 days.
All domestic air travellers coming into Tamil Nadu to register themselves in TNePass portal and make a declaration, a travel permit will then be issued with a QR Code.
The airline staff shall also insist on the details of entry pass obtained from TNe-pass before issuing the boarding pass. On arrival in Tamil Nadu, the passenger has to furnish details of registration in the TN e-Pass registration desk at the Airport.
Passengers without entry in TN ePass will not be permitted to move out.
Telangana
A total of 30 domestic flights (15 pairs) per day In Hyderabad.
No quarantine for domestic passengers arriving in Hyderabad if they have no Covid-19 symptoms. They will have to self-monitor their health for 14 days as per the guidelines of the central health ministry.
Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh government said air travellers to the state will be home quarantined for 14 days unless they are staying for less than a week or if they clear the coronavirus test earlier.
All passengers coming to UP will have to register themselves on http://reg.upcovid.in and furnish details of themselves and family members travelling with them.
A message will be displayed on their phones after this and CISF personnel will let them leave the airport only after checking it.
