My favourite tiger moment of 2020...
Fourteen year long journey in the majestic world of tigers.....I feel immense gratitude for the opportunity to produce signature content on these magnificent creatures.
It seems that while observing these big cats, time ceases to exist.....There is no yesterday, no tomorrow....there is only the Now
When I first started filming, I had no idea that it would be a life changing journey. Spending hundreds of hours documenting intimate dramas, incredible family dynamics and unique behaviours has changed my way of thinking. Their emotions are as powerful as ours.
Here is a new face to add to the wonderful tiger characters...This year's end I was trying to catch a glimpse of Tadoba's iconic tigress and her new litter of four cubs without much luck. Even after 80 safaris, I managed to sight the tigress and three of her cubs only a few times. But the fourth cub who is very shy, eluded me. Finally, one fine morning she allowed me to capture this moving sequence. This definitely made up for all the waiting.
