Today is our last day of the Recce tour of Uttar Pradesh and the destination for today is Ayodhya!!!

How a small time city till 2023 is now converted into one of the most happening tourist cities in India...wow..what a feeling to visit this place...When I finally saw the idol of Lord Rama, I got nostalgic and drove back to my memory lane of 90's where I donated 10 Rs and a brick for Ram mandir at that time during kar seva!! I still remember I had one poster of Lord Ram with Ram mandir in my 90's.

And now, today when I saw the first glimpse of the idol of Lord Ram it felt like having a dream come true...what an amazing atmosphere where devotees were chanting "Jai Shree Ram" continuously with full of faith and energy

As there are no cameras and mobile allowed inside the temple so no pics of the temple but managed to get some clicks from outside !!!

The convergence of 400 million people, equalling the combined population of the US and UK, during the auspicious 45 days of Mahakumbh in January-February 2025!!! This will be the biggest human gathering in the World during Jan - March 25..!!

So here is our first day at Lucknow ...it was 44 degrees during day time but we had to cover the monuments for our upcoming heritage walk followed by culinary tours in the evening. Yes...Sham E Avadh is mesmerizing!!!! Beautiful market of Hazratganj along with the culinary tour of the old city ( and yes this includes Tunde kababs) ...

Our next stop or tomorrow is Prayagraj!!! Yes ...Mahakumbh is coming in 2025!!!
