Caravan Trip Of MP: Your Little Home On Wheels
Straight from the scenes of a movie, imagine your private wagon is parked near a flowing river or a lush forest. The weather is lovely, with the late-summer blooms dotting the entire landscape. After having a nice meal in your vehicle, you travel the state on wheels. This isn’t a dream, the Madhya Pradesh government has introduced caravans that you can hire to explore the beauty of the state. They rent it out for several routes, out of which the Jabalpur-Bedhaghat- Kanha-Jabalpur route is the most prominent.

Running along the banks of the holy river Narmada, the road from Jabalpur to Bedhaghat is breathtaking. Driving through this highway is any driver’s dream come true, especially when the vehicle is supremely luxurious. The best part about this trip is you can park your caravan anywhere close to the river, extend the camping gear, and experience life in the countryside or take a halt in the nearby village to relish local meals. These caravans come with a special parking service at the Madhya Pradesh Tourism Hotels.

Once you reach Bedhaghat, your eyes will crave to get close to the Dhuandhar Falls, also known as Niagara Falls of India with a plunge of 30 meters. Narmada river pierces through the bewitching marble rocks from the height of 310 meters and falls down a cliff to form Dhuandhar waterfall. The waterfalls have been named such because of the foggy and misty appearance of the water falling with utmost force. Apart from Bedhaghat, Marble Rocks make a famous touristy attraction. Several movies have been shot here because of its stunning location.

You can either enjoy a cup of hot coffee relaxing in the recliner seats of your caravan or sign up for the boat ride and capture the natural beauty of these rocks from your camera. The journey in a caravan makes every moment memorable, be it watching your favourite movie on the move, making sundowner drinks from the in-van fridge, or savouring hot snacks made in the compact kitchen. With whistling woods and stridulating crickets, this jungle will make you forget city life. Kanha National Park is essentially reckoned as one of the most prominent tiger reserves in the country. You’ll get to see several wild animals, along with the mighty Bengal Tiger. If you are a bird watcher, Kanha National Park is surely a delight for you. You can spot rare birds such as cuckoos, bee-eater, rollers, woodpeckers, warblers, rock pigeons, spurfowl, partridges, hoopoes, green pigeons, and many others.

An amber sunset awaits you at the Sunset Point of Kanha National Park. Being the last spot in the safari, it is one of the most beautiful sights to end the trip. The sky bleeds of all shades of reds and yellows as the sun sinks below the horizon. The journey in the caravan is an experience in itself.
