The marvelous Shiva temple in the sky.

Thevamalai, Akasthiyar mountain, Thrisulakirimalai, Mallikarjuna hill are known by many names.

Lord Shiva put his first foot on the mountain(Parvadha Mountain) when he came to live on earth from Kailash.It is believed that the mountain range collapsed at that time and that Lord Shiva then set foot in Thiruvannamalai for the devotees.

Lord Shiva is in the name of Mallikarjunar with his wife Bhramarambika on the top of a hill at a height of 4560 feet above sea level. There is a statue of Lord Shiva dedicated to him by Siddhar Pokar. They say that after the 48 blackmoon day, on the full moon day, worshiping this shiva will depict enlightenment.

The hill where the great sages like Samathakini sage, Visvamitra, Pokar and Akasthiyar are meditated. In this Kaliyuga, Devendran comes in the form of thunder and lightning and worships Lord Shiva and Mother on every Fullmoon day.Mountain is a form of Nandi.

In the Ramayana, when the Anjaneyar brought down the mountain of Sanjeevi from the Devalogam to remove Lakshman's poison.Legends say that a small piece of land fell down from the Sanjeevi mountain and was the mountain of Parvadha.

There is also the story of Parvathamalai in the Trishulagiri Purana.Once in Kailai, Parvati Devi raised a question to Lord Shiva.Charity, materiality, pleasure, home To reach these four, ask what kind of Shiva Temple is to be sought (Worship) by humans.Lord shiva replied to her and directed to worship Parvadha Mountain.

ரதசப்தமி நன்னாளில்-செய்யாற்றில் அண்ணாமலையார் தீர்த்தவாரி - கலசப்பாக்கம் ஆற்றுத் திருவிழா- பத்திரிக்கை.-நாள் : 16-02-24. வெள்ளிக்கிழமை.

உலகில் உயிரினங்கள் வாழ சூரியனே காரணம்.

அந்த சூரியனின் அருள் பெற உகந்த நாளாக ரத சப்தமி நாள் அமைகிறது.

தை அமாவாசைக்கு அடுத்த ஏழாவது நாளே ரத சப்தமி கொண்டாடும் நாள் ஆகும்.

பிரம்ம யோகத்திலும் பரணி நட்சத்திரத்திலும் ரத சப்தமி இம்முறை வருகிறது. பிரம்மயோகம் காலை முதல் பிற்பகல் 03:18 மணி வரை, அன்று பரணி நட்சத்திரம் அதிகாலை முதல் 08:47 AM வரை,

மத நம்பிக்கைகளின் படி, தை மாதத்தின் சுக்ல பக்ஷத்தின் ஏழாவது நாளில் இருந்து, சூரிய பகவான் தனது தேரில் சவாரி செய்வதன் மூலம் உலகை ஒளியால் ஒளிரச் செய்யத் தொடங்கினார்,

இந்நாளில் சூரியன் ஏழு குதிரைகள் பூட்டிய ரதத்தில் வடக்கு நோக்கித் திரும்புவதாக ஐதீகம். எனவே, சூரிய பகவானின் பிறந்தநாள் ரத சப்தமி நாளில் கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

ரத சப்தமி திருவிழா மிகவும் மங்களகரமானதாக கருதப்படுகிறது. இவ்விழாவை முன்னிட்டு, பக்தர்கள் அன்னதானம் செய்வதால், பாவங்கள் மற்றும் நோய் நீங்கி, நீண்ட ஆயுளும், செழுமையும், நல்ல ஆரோக்கியமும் கிடைக்கும் என்பது நம்பிக்கை.

ஒரு மனிதன் தன் வாழ்க்கையில் ஏழு வகையான பாவங்களைச் செய்கிறான் என்று கூறப்படுகிறது.
இவை வேண்டுமென்றே, தற்செயலாக, வாய் வார்த்தையாலும், உடல் செயலாலும், மனதாலும், முற்பிறவியிலும் செய்த பாவங்கள்.

ரத சப்தமி அன்று சூரிய பகவானை வழிபடுவதால் இந்த பாவங்களில் இருந்து விடுதலை கிடைக்கும் என்பது நம்பிக்கை.

திருவூடல் நடந்து அண்ணாமலையாரும், உண்ணாமலையம்மனும் ஊடல் துறந்து மகிழ்ச்சி பொங்க இந்த செய்யாற்றுக்கு வந்து தீர்த்தம் ஆடுவதாக சொல்கிறார்கள்.

இந்த புனித நாளின் சிறப்பை உணர்த்தும் விதமாக அண்ணாமலையார் உடன் உடனுறை உண்ணாமுலையம்மன் பங்கேற்கும் ரதசப்தமி தீர்த்தவாரி கலசப்பாக்கம் செய்யாற்றில் நடைபெற உள்ளது.

இந்தத் தீர்த்தவாரியில் அண்ணாமலையார் உடனுறை உண்ணாமுலையம்மன் உடன் கலசப்பக்கத்தில் வீற்றிருக்கும் திருமாமுடீஸ்வர் உடனுறை திரிபுரசுந்தரி அம்பாளுடன் தீர்த்தவாரியில் கலந்துகொள்வார்கள்.

திருவண்ணாமலைக்கு திரும்பும் வழியில் உள்ள அண்ணாமலையாருக்கு சொந்தமான தனகோட்டி புறத்திலுள்ள அண்ணாமலையார் கோவிலுக்கு தானமாக வழங்கிய பல ஏக்கர் விவசாய நிலத்தினை பார்வையிடுவார்.

கலசப்பாக்கம் செய்யாற்றில் அண்ணாமலையார் ரத சப்தமி தீர்த்தவாரி – 16-02-2024.

திருவண்ணாமலை அருணாசலேஸ்வரர் கோவிலில் சித்திரை முதல் பங்குனி வரையிலான 12 மாதங்களில் நடக்கும் முக்கிய தீர்த்தவாரிகளில் தை மாதம் அமாவாசை முடிந்து 7-ம் நாள் நடக்கும் ரதசப்தமி தீர்த்தவாரியும் ஒன்று.

ரத சப்தமி இந்து சமயத்தவர்களால் தை அமாவாசை நாளை அடுத்த ஏழாவது நாளில் கொண்டாடப்படுவதாகும்.

இது குறிப்பாக சூரிய தேவன் ஏழு குதிரைகள் (ஏழு வண்ணங்களைக் குறிக்கின்றன) பூட்டிய தனது ரதத்தை வடகிழக்கு திசையில் திருப்பி பயணிப்பதாக கருதப்படுகிறது.
மேலும், இந்த நாள் சூரியக் கடவுளின் பிறந்த நாளாக கொண்டாடப்படுகிறது.

ரிஷி காஷ்யபர் மனைவி அதிதி பூரண கர்ப்பவதி. ஒருநாள் கணவருக்கு உணவு பரிமாறிக் கொண்டி ருந்தபோது தான் யாரோ கதவை தட்ட, அவள் யாரென்று பார்க்க, ஒரு பிராமணன் ”பசிக்கிறது ஏதாவது சாப்பிட கொடு” என்று கேட்க, ” இரு கொண்டுவருகிறேன்” என்று அதிதி மெதுவாக நடக்கமுடியாமல் நடந்து வந்து கணவருக்கு உணவு பரிமாறி அவர் சாப்பிட்ட பின் ஆகாரத்தை எடுத்துக்கொண்டு அந்த பிராமணனுக்கு கொடுத்தாள் .
”ஏன் லேட்டாக வந்து உணவைக் கொடுத்தாய். என்னை உதாசீனமா பண்ணினாய். உன் வயிற்றில் வளரும் குழந்தை இறப்பான்” என கோபித்து சாபமிட்டான்.

பிராமணனிரின் சாபம் கேட்டு அதிர்ச்சியடைந்த அதிதி காஸ்யபரிடம் விஷயத்தை சொல்ல, ”நீ இதற்கெல்லாம் வருந்தாதே, அமிர்த உலகில் இருந்து அழிவில்லாத ஒரு மகன் நமக்கு கிடைப்பான்” என்று வாழ்த்த ஒளி பிரகாசமான சூரியன் மகனாக பிறந்தான்..
ரத சப்தமி அன்று ஏழு எருக்கம் இலைகளை தலையில் ஒன்று, கண்களில் இரண்டு, தோள்பட்டைகளில் இரண்டு, கால்களில் இரண்டை வைத்து ஸ்நானம் செய்வது வழக்கம். தலையில் வைக்கும் இலையில், பெண்கள் மஞ்சள் பொடி மற்றும் அட்சதையும், ஆண்கள் அட்சதை மட்டும் வைத்துக் கொள்ள வேண்டும். இவ்வாறு செய்வது ஆரோக்கியத்தையும், செல்வ வளத்தையும் தரும்.

ரதசப்தமி நாளில் செய்யப்படும் தர்மத்திற்கு பலமடங்கு புண்ணியம் உண்டு. இந்த நாளில் தொடங்கும் தொழில் பெருகும். பெண்கள் உயர்நிலையை அடைவர். கணவனை இழந்தவர்கள் இந்த விரதம் அனுஷ்டித்தால் அடுத்து வரும் பிறவிகளில் இந்த நிலை ஏற்படாது என்கின்றன புராணங்கள்.

இந்த நாள் தியானம், யோகா செய்ய சிறந்தது. சூரிய உதயத்தின் போது குளித்து விரதம் அனுஷ்டித்தால் செல்வந்தர் ஆக உயர்வார்கள் என்கின்றது புராணம்.
சூரிய பகவானை, ரத சப்தமி நன்னாளில் பூஜித்து வழிபட்டால், ஏழு ஜென்மப் பாவமும் விலகிவிடும்.

அடுத்தடுத்து ஏழு தலைமுறையினரும் சீரும் சிறப்புமாக வாழ்வார்கள் ரத சப்தமி நன்னாள். சூரிய உதயத்தின் போது, கிழக்குப் பார்த்தபடி நீராடுங்கள். வாழ்வில், ஒளிமயமான எதிர்காலம் நிச்சயம்.
திருவூடல் நடந்து அண்ணாமலையாரும், உண்ணாமலையம்மனும் ஊடல் துறந்து மகிழ்ச்சி பொங்க இந்த செய்யாற்றுக்கு வந்து தீர்த்தம் ஆடுவதாக சொல்கிறார்கள்.

செய்யாற்றுக்கு செல்லும்போது ஆற்றை கடக்கக்கூடாது என்ற ஐதீகம் இருப்பதால் மேட்டுப்பாளையம் கிராமம் வழியாக சுவாமி புறப்பாடு நடைபெறும். வழிநெடுக மக்கள் மண்டகப்படி நடத்தி அண்ணாமலையாரை வழிபடுவது இங்கு ஐதீகமாகும்.
இரவு முழுவதும் கலசப்பாக்கத்தில் அண்ணாமலையார் தங்கி பக்தர்களுக்கு அருள்பாலிப்பார். பின்பு நாளை காலை திருவண்ணாமலைக்கு திரும்பும் வழியில் உள்ள அண்ணாமலையாருக்கு சொந்தமான தனகோட்டி புறத்திலுள்ள அண்ணாமலையார் கோவிலுக்கு தானமாக வழங்கிய பல ஏக்கர் விவசாய நிலத்தினை பார்வையிடுவார்.

நெல் அறுவடை முடிந்த நிலையில் தனது நிலத்தை அண்ணாமலையார் சென்று பார்வையிடுவது சிறப்பாகும்.அண்ணாமலையார் பங்கேற்கும் தீர்த்தவாரிகளில் கலந்து கொண்டால் வினைகள் தீர்ந்து ஈசனின் திருப்பாதத்தை அடைய முடியும் என்பது நம்பிக்கையாகும்.
மேலும் தீர்த்தவாரிகளில் பங்கேற்கும் பக்தர்களின் ஆன்மா அண்ணாமலையாரின் கருணை பார்வையால் குளிர்ச்சி பெறுவதாக புராணங்களில் குறிப்பிடப்பட்டுள்ளது.
இத்தகைய சிறப்பு வாய்ந்த தீர்த்தவாரியை தவறவிடாதீர்கள்.

Gurumurtam temple where Ramana stayed before Virupaksha cave.

Gurumurtam Temple is the samadhi of Deivasikamani Desikar, 1291 – 1348, who lived in Tiruvannamalai and manifested his yogic powers by reviving the dead horse of a
certain Chola king.

Deivasikamani's Samadhi was built at Kizhnathur, a suburb of Tiruvannamalai. A temple called Kurumurtha was built over the samadhi.

About six months after his arrival in Tiruvannamalai, Ramana lived under an Ilubai tree at Arunachaleswar Temple. At this time he was known as "Brahmana Swami".

He went to Gurumurtam when the Vahanam (Vahana Mandapam) became very busy during Deepam festival.

Ramana stayed at Gurumurtam for one and a half years. People used to go there and disturb Ramana's penance. There was a mango grove near Gurumurtam, the owner of which, Venkataramana Nayak, invited Swami to stay in his mango tree so that he could be at peace.

It was here that Ramana started reading books like Ribu Gita, Yoga Vasishtam and Viveka Sudimani. In these books he studied his own experience.

Gurumurtam is a place associated with the early history of Sri Ramana Maharishi.

Desikar performed many miracles. One of his miracles was reviving the dead horse of King Veeravallala who ruled from 1291 to 1348 AD.

Deivasikamani Desikar was born in the late 13th century in the Adi Saiva tradition.

He had divine darshan (vision) at an early age.

He preached true wisdom through his guru, the great Saiva saint Arulnandi Sivacharya.

Deivasikamani Desikar started this mutt in the early 14th century (at Tiruvannamalai). The present temple was built when he attained Jeeva Samadhi.

On the day of Aadi Amavasai, Annadana {Kai Curry Rice) was offered to the devotees and sadhus on the way to GIrivalam located around the Annamalaiyar hill in Thiruvannamalai.

By giving food to the needy and worshiping at home or in a Shiva temple,

Pitru Dosha is removed and we get the blessings of our ancestors. All good things happen in our homes.

Vijayalakshmi Nande, Chella Madhavi and Bhandari Rajaveeraswamy together did the noble work of providing food to the Sadhus.

Starting from Varuna Lingam, we gave alms to more than 500 sadhus and servants of Shiva till Durvasar Temple.

The Siruthondar {little volunteer} who sacrificed his son to God.

Paranjodi was the commander of Narasimha Pallava. He is a great devotee of Shiva. People affectionately called him 'Chiruthondar'.

He used to worship Esan Ganapadeeswarar and Ambal Chulikampal in his hometown Tiruchengatangudi.

Later, Paranjodi renounced his post as commander and performed Shivathondu at Tirusengatangudi along with his wife Thiruvengattu Nangai,son Siralan and maid Chandana Nangai.

He made it a habit to serve the Sivanatiyar-Shiva Devotees in his house every day and make it a habit for them to eat after their meal.

In front of Shivanadiyar, he considered himself very small and behaved with reverence. So people affectionately called him 'Chiruthondar'.

One day, none of Sivanadiar came to Siruthondar's house to have the sweet drink and Food . So the Chiruthondar went outside in search of a servant - Shiva Devotees to eat delicious food.

Lord Shiva wanted to make the world know about his [Chiruthondar] devotion {Shiva devotee}.

As a result, the servant standng in front of the house in the guise of a servant.

At that time there were only the wife of chiruthondar and the maid in the house.

The chiruthondar's wife, who was happy to see the servant[Shiva devotee], said, "Servant! My husband has gone outside in search of Sivanadiar. He will come now."

Eshiwaran, who was in the form of a servant, said, "Mother! I am from the north. We will not be in this place where only women are alone. I am sitting under a fig tree in a nearby temple. When the volunteer[Chiruthondar] comes, tell him to come there" and left.

After some time,As none of Shivanatiar was available for eat food,Siruthondar came home confused,

His wife told him that a Shiva devotee had come looking to eat food and where he said he was and asked him to bring him.

He saw the Shiva devotee under the fig tree and prayed to him. Then he said, “You bastard! I have come to Siruthonar.They should come to our house to eat their food."

Eshwaran, who was in the role of a slave, said, “Little volunteer! We eat only once in six months. Today is the day for that. But it is rare for you to create amud for us. Thinking that the servant will not come to eat at our house, the servant said, "Whatever the matter is, tell me. I will do that."

Immediately, the Shiva Devotee said, "One son to one cow, and a child under the age of five who has no defects in his organs. His mother,father, both of them should cook it with all their heart and then serve the child's curry to us."

The Siruthondar bowed to him and said, "If you agree to eat food, we will immediately arrange food according to your wishes."

The Shiva Devotee agreed. Then he said, "You cook.. I'm coming back after taking a bath." After that Siruthondar rushed home. He told his wife what had happened. Both the husband and wife decided to cook and serve their son Siralan to the servant[ Shiva Devotee].

They brought the son who had gone to school and bathed him. Then, for the wife to hold, Siruthondar tore her child to pieces.Then his wife and the maid finished cooking the meal together.By then the Shiva Devotee had arrived. A seat was prepared for him, cooked baby curry was brought and placed on a leaf. He invited the Siruthondar to sit with him and eat. As the Shiva devotee told him, he fed on another leaf and tried to dine with the child.Then the Shiva Devotee stopped him and said, “When I am patient and eat once in six months, you are in such a hurry. Call your son too."

Siruthondar said, "He will help here." The Shiva Devotee insisted, "We will eat only when he comes," and Siruthondar, who had no other choice, went to the door of the house and called, "Son, Sirala, come."

What a miracle.. Like a person coming from school, Siralan came running.Siruthondar and his wife embraced their son in joy and rejoiced.

Then when he brought him into the house, the Shiva Devotee was not there. Realizing that it was Lord Shiva, the couple was overwhelmed with joy. At that time,Eshwaran appeared with Parvati in the Rishabha vehicle and granted salvation to Siruthondar, his wife, son and maid.

மகனையே, கடவுளுக்கு காணிக்கையாக்கிய சிறுதொண்டர்

நரசிம்ம பல்லவனிடம் தளபதியாக இருந்தவர் பரஞ்சோதி. இவர் சிறந்த சிவபக்தர். மக்கள் அவரை அன்புடன் ‘சிறுதொண்டர்’ என்றே அழைத்தனர்.

இவர் தனது ஊரான திருச்செங்காட்டங்குடியில் உள்ள ஈசன் கணபதீஸ்வரரையும், அம்பாள் சூளிகாம்பாளையும் வழிபட்டு வந்தார்.

பின்னாளில் பரஞ்சோதி தன் தளபதி பதவியைத் துறந்து தன் மனைவி திருவெண்காட்டு நங்கை, மகன் சீராளன், பணிப்பெண் சந்தன நங்கையுடன் திருசெங்காட்டங்குடியிலேயே சிவதொண்டை மேற்கொண்டார்.

தினமும் சிவனடியார்களுக்கு தன் இல்லத்தில் அறுசுவை அமுது படைத்து, அவர்கள் உணவருந்திய பின்பு உணவு உண்ணும் வழக்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்திக்கொண்டார்.

சிவனடியார்கள் முன் தன்னை மிகவும் சிறியவராய் எண்ணி பயபக்தியுடன் நடந்து கொள்வார். அதனால் மக்கள் அவரை அன்புடன் ‘சிறுதொண்டர்’ என்றே அழைத்தனர்.

ஒருநாள் அறுசுவை அமுது சாப்பிட சிவனடியார் எவரும் சிறுதொண்டர் வீட்டுப்பக்கம் வரவில்லை. இதனால் அறுசுவை உணவு சாப்பிட அடியவரைத் தேடி வெளியில் சென்றார் சிறு தொண்டர்.

தம் தொண்டனின் { சிவ பக்தனை } தொண்டினை -சேவை உலகம் அறியச்செய்ய நினைத்தார், சிவபெருமான்.

இதனால் அடியவர் வேடத்தில் சிறுதொண்டர் வீட்டின் முன் நின்றார்.

அப்போது வீட்டில் சிறுதொண்டரின் மனைவியும், பணிப்பெண்ணுமே இருந்தனர்.

அடியவரைக் கண்டதும் மகிழ்ந்த சிறுதொண்டரின் மனைவி, “அடியவரே! என் கணவர் சிவனடியாரைத் தேடி வெளியில் சென்றிருக்கிறார். இப்போது வந்துவிடுவார்” என்றார்.

அதற்கு அடியார் உருவில் இருந்த ஈசன், “அம்மா! அடியேன் வடநாட்டிலிருந்து வந்துள்ளேன். பெண்கள் மட்டும் தனித்திருக்கும் இவ்விடத்தில் நாம் இருக்கமாட்டோம். அருகிலுள்ள ஆலயத்தில் ஆத்தி மரத்தின் கீழ் அமர்ந்திருக்கிறேன். சிறுதொண்டர் வந்ததும் அங்கு வரச்சொல்” என்று கூறிவிட்டு சென்றுவிட்டார்.

சற்றுநேரத்திற்குப் பிறகு, சிவனடியார் யாரும் அமுதுண்ண கிடைக்காததால் கலக்கத்துடன் வீட்டிற்கு வந்தார், சிறுதொண்டர். அவரிடம் அவரது மனைவி, அடியவர் ஒருவர் அமுதுண்ண தேடி வந்ததையும், அவர் இருப்பதாக கூறிய இடத்தையும் சொல்லி, அவரை அழைத்து வரும்படி கூறினார்.

ஆத்தி மரத்தின் அடியில் இருந்த அடியவரைக் கண்டு அவரைத் தொழுதார். பின்னர், “அடியவரே! சிறுதொண்டன் வந்திருக்கிறேன். தாங்கள் அமுதுண்ண எமது இல்லம் வரவேண்டும்” என்றார்.

அதற்கு அடியவர் வேடத்தில் இருந்த ஈசன், “சிறுதொண்டரே! யாம் ஆறு மாதத்திற்கு ஒருமுறை தான் உணவு உட்கொள்வோம். அதற்கான நாள் இன்று. ஆனால் உம்மால் எமக்கு அமுது படைத்திடல் அரிது” என்றார். அடியவர் நம் வீட்டில் உணவருந்த வரமாட்டாரோ என்று நினைத்த சிறுதொண்டர், “என்ன விஷயமாக இருந்தாலும் சொல்லுங்கள். அதை நான் செய்கிறேன்” என்றார்.

உடனே அடியவர், “ஒரு குடிக்கு ஒரு மகனாகவும், ஐந்து வயதிற்குட்பட்ட உறுப்பில் குறையில்லாத குழந்தையை, அதன் தாய் பிடிக்க, தந்தை அரிய, இருவரும் மனம் உவந்து சமைத்து பின்பு அந்தப் பிள்ளைக்கறியை எமக்குப் பரிமாற வேண்டும்” என்றார்.

சிறுதொண்டர் அவரை வணங்கி, “நீங்கள் அமுதுண்ண ஒப்புக்கொண்டால், உங்கள் விருப்பப்படியே உணவு ஏற்பாட்டை உடனே செய்வோம்” என்றார்.

அடியவர் ஒப்புக்கொண்டார். பின்னர் “நீ சமைத்து வை.. நான் நீராடிவிட்டு வருகிறேன்” என்றார். இதையடுத்து சிறுதொண்டர் வீட்டிற்கு விரைந்தார். நடந்ததை மனைவியிடம் கூறினார். கணவன்- மனைவி இருவரும் ஒரு மனதாக, தங்கள் மகன் சீராளனையே அடியவருக்கு சமைத்து வழங்க முடிவு செய்தனர். பள்ளிக்கு சென்றிருந்த மகனை அழைத்து வந்து, நீராட்டி சுத்தப்படுத்தினர். பின்னர் மனைவி பிடித்துக் கொள்ள, சிறுதொண்டர் தன் பிள்ளையை துண்டுதுண்டாக அரிந்தார். பின்னர் அவரது மனைவியும், பணிப்பெண்ணும் சேர்ந்து உணவு சமைத்து முடித்தனர்.

அதற்குள் அடியவர் வந்து விட்டார். அவருக்கு இருக்கை தயார் செய்து, சமைத்து வைத்த பிள்ளைக்கறியைக் கொண்டு வந்து இலையில் வைத்தனர். தன்னுடன் அமர்ந்து சிறுதொண்டரையும் உணவருந்த அழைத்தார், அடியவர். சிறுதொண்டரும் அடியவர் சொல்படியே மற்றொரு இலையில் உணவிட்டு, பிள்ளைக்கறி வைத்து உணவருந்த முற்பட்டார். அப்போது அவரை தடுத்த அடியவர், “ஆறு மாதத்திற்கு ஒரு முறை உணவருந்தும் நானே பொறுமையாக இருக்கும்போது, உனக்கேன் இவ்வளவு அவசரம். நீ உன் மகனையும் கூப்பிடு” என்றார்.

அதற்கு சிறுதொண்டர் “இங்கு அவன் உதவான்” என்றார். அடியவரோ, “அவன் வந்தால்தான் யாம் உண்போம்” என்று பிடிவாதம் பிடிக்க, வேறு வழியின்றி வீட்டின் வாசலுக்குச் சென்ற சிறுதொண்டர், “மகனே சீராளா வருவாய்..” என்று அழைத்தார்.

என்ன அதிசயம்.. பாடசாலையில் இருந்து வருபவன் போல, சீராளன் துள்ளிக்குளித்து ஓடி வந்தான். சிறுதொண்டரும், அவரது மனைவியும் ஆனந்தத்தில் மகனை ஆரத் தழுவி மகிழ்ந்தனர். பின் அவனை அழைத்துக் கொண்டு வீட்டிற்குள் வந்தபோது, அங்கு அடியவர் இல்லை. வந்தவர் சிவபெருமான் என்பதை உணர்ந்த அந்த தம்பதியர் ஆனந்தத்தில் திளைத்தனர். அப்போது ஈசன், பார்வதியோடு ரிஷப வாகனத்தில் காட்சி தந்து, சிறுதொண்டர், அவரது மனைவி, மகன், பணிப்பெண் ஆகிய நால்வருக்கும் முக்தி வழங்கினார்.
