Vanvasi home stay is located at Kaflon hamlet in Assi Ganga Valley (Bhatwari block), just 10kms ahead Uttarkashi town(Uttarakhand).
Surrounded by mountains and lush green forest, the place offers a beautiful view of the valley, Assi Ganga river and diverse wildlife. Situated at an altitude of 4600 ft (1402m) above sea level, the place gets good snowfall during winters.

About Us :-
Vanvasi home stay is a owner run establishment. We your hosts, Abhyudaya Kotnala (photojournalist) and Ruchi Kotnala (art teacher) lives here with our daughter Pakhi. Like many others, we also used to dream about living in Himalayas, close to nature. So, we left the city life and built our dream house in Kaflon, with grace of lord Kashi Vishwanath and maa Ganga.
We know, that there are many others, who also want to spend time in Himalayas, where they can detoxify their soul & mind and create beautiful memories with their loved ones. Therefore, following the ‘Atithi Devo Bhava' culture of ‘Pahadi’ community, we have opened the doors of our home for you. Here, we are sharing a part of our life with you and trying to make your stay safe and comfortable. So that you can live your dream and enjoy the most of this Himalayan wonderland.
