Nestled in the heart of Uttarakhand, these fearless girls undertook an adventure foundation course, proudly sponsored by Uttarakhand Tourism and meticulously organized by The Himalayan Roots. This unique collaboration not only unveiled the mysteries of the mountains but also revealed the inner strength of these remarkable girls.
Changing the Narrative
Traditionally, adventure activities and outdoor pursuits have often been perceived as the domain of men. However, times are changing, and in the vibrant villages of Uttarakhand, a new narrative is unfolding. With the support of Uttarakhand Tourism and the expertise of The Himalayan Roots, a group of local girls was given the opportunity to explore the limitless world of adventure.
Breaking Barriers
Breaking down stereotypes and societal norms, these 25 girls embarked on a journey that not only defied expectations but also empowered them in unprecedented ways. The course was designed to be an equalizer, providing these girls with the skills, knowledge, and self-confidence needed to navigate the challenging terrain of adventure.
The Adventure Foundation Course
Over the course of 7 days, these young adventurers delved into the heart of the Himalayas, learning the ropes of adventure and exploring their own potential. Here's a glimpse of their incredible journey:
