Tungnath Temple the blissful abode of Lord Shiva is one of the holy pilgrimage destinations of India. Devotees from all across the globe come here to get the divine blessings and spiritual wisdom. This temple is a part of the holy Panch Kedar Circuit. It is the highest Panch Kedar Temple in Uttarakhand. In the orders of Panch Kedars, it is the third temple (Tritiya Kedar) situated at an elevation of 3680 meters. The temple is said to be more than 1000 years old.
