📍 Aqueduct

This remarkable structure was built by the Assyrian king Sennacherib in the 7th century BCE. Here is a more detailed look at this engineering marvel:

- **Sennacherib's Reign:** Sennacherib was one of the most powerful kings of the Neo-Assyrian Empire, ruling from 705 to 681 BCE. He is known for his extensive building projects, including the expansion of Nineveh, the capital city.
- **Purpose of the Aqueduct:** The aqueduct was constructed as part of Sennacherib's ambitious water management system to bring water from the Khenis River (Gomel River) to Nineveh, ensuring a reliable water supply for the city.

**Construction Details:**
- **Location:** The Jerwan Aqueduct is located near modern-day Mosul in Iraq, around 40 kilometers (25 miles) from Nineveh.

The black snake, known as "Sharfadin" in Yezidi mythology, holds a place of honor and reverence. It is often depicted in Yezidi temples, particularly in the Temple of Lalish, the most sacred site for Yezidis. The image of the black snake is carved into the entrance of the temple.

The Great Flood
Much like the tale of Noah's Ark found in the Abrahamic religions, the Yezidi myth tells of a catastrophic flood that threatens to wipe out all life on Earth.

گوندێکە لە ٤ وەرزی ساڵ گونجاوە بۆ گەشت کردن. هەرتەلیەکان کەسانێکی رۆشەنبیر، میواندۆست و زۆر بەڕێزن.
لە کاتی خۆی صدام حسین مەجبوریان کرد کە بە دەستی خۆیان سەقفی مالەکانیان بروخێنن کە پێشمەرگە نەتوانێت لەوێ پەناببات. بیر لە ئەو دۆخی دەرونی بکەن کە بە دەست خۆت مالی خۆت بروخێنیت کە گوندەکە بۆمباران ناکرێت. دواتر بە زۆری رێژیمی ئەو کاتە لە نزیکترین شارۆچکە نێشتەجێ بوون.
هیواخوازین کە لایەنی ۆەیوەندیداری حکومەت پشتگیری ئەم ئازیزان بکات کە دیسان ئەو خانوانە چاک بکەن و ژیان دیسان بگەڕێتەوە بەم شوێنە جوانە و ئاوادانتر ببێت. ئێستا تەنها ٤ ماڵ ئەویش وەرزی هاتو چووی پێوە دەکەن.
یەکێکیان کاک محمد گەنجێکە هەموو هەفتەیێک سەردانی گوندەکە دەکات و چاوی لە ئاو و باخەکان و گەشتیارەکان و شاخەوانەکانە کە زەرەرێک بە دارەکان نەدەن.
ژمارێکی زۆر دار هەنار، رەزی ترێ، هەرمێ، سێو، توو، هەنجیر، گوێز، گۆیژ، هالوژە، قیسی، و کشتوکالی سەوزەکان وەک پیاز، لەوێ هەیە، ژمارێکی باش بزن لەگەڵ شوانەکان بە شێوازی وەرزی لەوێ بەخێ دەکرێت و ڕێگەوبانی بە گشتی لە دۆخێکی باشە بەڵام شایانی باشترە. لە کاتی هاویندا یەکێک لە گونجاوتەین شوێنەکانە بۆ ڕاکردن لە دەستی گەرما کە لە سێبەری دارستانەکەی و تاڤگەی گۆمەشین کاتێکی خۆش بەسەر ببەی. تاڤگەی گۆمەشین بریتیە لە ٦ تاڤگەی قادرمەیی، و گەیشتن بە سەرچاوەکەی تۆزێک سەختە بۆ کەسانێکە بەئەزمون نین.
ئێمە وەک هەموو مانگێک لەوێ گەشتمان هەیە بە گروپ و بە تایبەت. ساڵانێکی زۆرە بووین بە هاوڕێ و دۆستی ئەم گوندە دڵگیرە.
پێشتر ئەم گوندە و بێتواتە و دەوروبەری شوێنی نێشتەجێبوونی جولەکان بووە و زۆر ئاوادان بووە. لە روی مەدرەسە و علم زۆر پێشکەوتوو بوو.
ئەگەر تا ئێستا سەردانتان نەکردووە و ئارەزوومەندی سەردانکردنی ئەم شوێنە شازەن لە کۆمێنت ئامادەبوونی خۆتان بنوسن.

A cultural tour for Hive International School in Erbil for the American and European students and their families was arranged by us. On this tour we showed them some art gallery, gem workshop, pottery and Seramic work, and some traditional Kurdish homes. We shared information about sustainability and how life used to look like in the past in Kurdistan.

بەرپرسی بەڕێز! ئەوەندە گرنگی بە بەرزکردنەوەی فەرهەنگ و کالا و گەشتیاری تورکیا و درامای ماڵ روخانی تورکی و شێوازی ژیانی ڕۆژئاوایی و سەردەمانەی غەربی دەکەن تکایە تۆزێک ئاگاتان بە ناوخۆ بێت! رخنەیێک بۆ تاکەکان کە زۆر زیرەکن لە تێکدانی شوێنەوارەکان، بەرپرسانی شوێنەوارەکانی کوردستان و عیراق-لایەنی حکومەتی هەرێم کە پێویستە گرەنگی زیاتر بە شوێنەوارەکانی کوردستان بدەن! ئاستی ئیهمال کردن بەراستی ئێمەی وەک ڕێبەری گەشتیاری کە خۆمان ماندوو دەکەین کە زۆرترین گەشتیاری بیانی بهێننین بۆ کوردستان،نائۆمێد دەکات. تکایە کاتی هاتووە کە بەرپرسەکان ئاگادار بن کە ئێمە بە پاراستنی شوێنەوارەکان دەتوانین سەرچاوەی ئابووری باش بۆ نیشتیمان دروست بکەین، هەلی کار بۆ گەنجان زیاتر بکەین! با تێ بگەین! گەشتیاری ناوخۆیی، کوردستان ئاوادان دەکات! نەفت تاکە سەرچاوە نیە! ئێمە لە روی شوێنەوار و مێژوو یەکێک لە دەولەمەنترین وەڵاتەکانی جیهانین! ئەی هاوااااار کە دەنگم ناگەت بە کەس! شوێنەوارەکان کە سەرەوەی ٣٠٠٠ سال مێژوویان هەیە بە دەست کەسانێکی جاهیل و دز لە دەست چووە و خراپتر دەبێت! تکایە حەرەسێک، کامێرای چاودێری، سیاجێک، فرۆشتنی بلیت بۆ چوونە ژوورەوە و خزمەتگوزاری تایبەت دانێن! دڵمان ژان دەکات بە بینینی تێکدا
