26Y male patient comes with traumatic aorta suffers from fales aneurysm that affecting the aortic arch and the 3 major branches
The treatment was performed successfully with TEVAR (Ankura-LifeTech Scientific Corporation + In-Situ Fenestration by implanting Ankura TAA and covers the whole aortic arch and using the Futhrough Endovascular Needle to fenestrate the “LCCA + Brachiocephalic Artery” at the same time
The Procedure was performed successfully with no complications and the patient was discharged next day from the hospital

This procedure is unique and one of a very rare cases were done in the world

In-Situ Fenestration with Treatment of Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm using the Endovascular Needle System for the First time in Middle East!

70 Years old patient with a Bovine Arch suffering from a thoracic “False” aneurysm that affecting part of the aortic arch including the origin of the LSA
The Patient was treated with by implanting a thoracic stent graft ™️TAA starting from just behind the Brachiocephalic artery’s origin and covers the LSA.
After the successful implementation of the Stent graft, The Futhrough™️ Needle System was inserted through the Left Brachial artery reaching to the LSA and punctured the stent graft from the upper part.
A 4mm Balloon was inserted to expand the puncture site of the TAA stent graft and then a 10mm balloon mounted stent graft was implanted successfully.
Overall, the procedure was successfully performed by Dr.Shawkat Miro And Dr. Ahmad Mz Sharif in Azadi HospitalAzadi Cardiovascular Center – Duhok / Iraq. And the patient was discharged from the hospital next day in a very well condition.

حيث تم زرع دعامة شبكيه للشريان الابهر الصدري وعمل منفذ من خلالها وتركيب دعامة شبكية اخرى عن طريق القسطرة وبدون جراحة.
قاد الفريق الطبي الدكتور شوكت ميرو اخصائي قسطرة القلب والاوعية الدمويه و دکتور احمد م. شریف اخصائي الجراحة الاوعية و الجراحة القلبية وانجزت العملية بنجاح كامل في مستشفى أزادي - مركز القلب في دهوك. حيث تم خروج المريض من المستشفى في اليوم التالي وهو بصحة ممتازة.

For the first time in and Kurdistan region, an Hybrid TVAR procedure was performed for a patient with ischemic heart disease and renal transplant. Presented with huge thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysm.
Surgery performed by a local team of Dr. Shawkat Miro Dr. Ahmad m. Sharif, Dr. Alaa Salim, & Dr. Sardar Hasan.
Surgical bypass performed from Brachiocephalic - carotic- subclavain. Also common hepatic and SMA bypassed by Dr. Ahmad, Dr. Alaa, and Dr. Sardar.
Then TEVAR performed by Dr. Shawkat Miro using two thoracic Endo Grafts from Lifetech.
Procedure was done in Azadi Hospital.
