16 days Federal Iraq and Iraqi Kurdistan road trip with Phil, Paul, Ken and Ian
This is by far the longest trip I’ve had guiding a group of travelers in the whole of Iraq, spanning from the Kuwait border down south to the Turkish border up north. 4,150 kilometers of driving and fun!
16 full days sounds long, being far from home, for a family man like me but there’s not a single boring moment. Why was that? Phil, Paul, Ken and Ian, all world travelers and long time friends, had infinite energy and laughter. I learned a lot from this trip, absorbing so much wisdom from these friendly, generous and kind gentlemen.
Phil and Paul (from Australia), Ian (from the UK), and Ken (from Canada) all enjoyed the trip well, and so did I. It was such a memorable and humbling experience learning so much from very experienced travelers and this is why I love my job. What’s better than meeting and learning from different people everyday, and from all walks of life.
