Back from amazing Shevi waterfall in summer, we missed the return train. We had to come and had no option but CARGO train! Honestly I really enjoyed this train and sorrounding atmosphere 😀

Bakhtiari nomads are starting their seasonal migration from Khuzestan to highlands. Today, mostly they use trucks to move, some families still use traditional manner though, the only difference is that they use roads wherever possible. 🐑 🐴 🐐

Fabulous Iranian Buffalos go swimming into Karoun river everyday. 🐃
Once is enough to try a buffalo milk ice-cream to memorize it's taste. There are several great points about their lifestyle that you should hear from their shepherd.

"Fesenjoon" is a delicious Iranian cuisine. The main ingredient is walnut.
The way you cook it is very important. We cook it in a way that walnut oil is separated that makes it more delicious. Would you like to try it with local rice of Khuzestan province? Feel free to contact 🙂

When: about 800 B.C. (Neo-Elamite era)
Where:Tarisha house of worship, Ayapir state (Izeh in Khuzestan province)

This relief depicts royal family while father is performing rituals.

It is worth a visit. You can feel warmth of flames if you get closer.
