I have always been dreaming about taking my friends to Iran. This year in November 2015 I have travelled to Iran with the first group of my friends and it was a dream come true! This page is dedicated to our experiences during this magnificent journey which was nothing short of spectacular and surprises for my friends. I was born in Iran and left the country at the age of 14, just after the revolu
tion. My school was closed at the time due to the riots and so my father decided to send me to Engalnd ,to stay with my sister who was already studying in England. The intention was for me to attend an English language school for couple of months. ( “Mind your language” a British comedy was exactly like my class!!) As schools were not settling I could not travel back home and a year later Iraq invaded Iran. The 8 years long war started and my father rightly thought I should stay in England until the war ends. I went back to Iran for the first time, 16 years later, at the age of 30. The changes were quite obvious but I could not get enough of being in our house with my parents again in my own room. After that year I made time to take my family there every year and I really wanted my children to understand the history of this magical land.
23 years after my first trip to Iran, I am so pleased to hear that finally the relationship between Iran and the west are showing signs of improvement and they are coming to some agreements as both sides have a common enemy in that region. This has effected the media and I felt that here is an opportunity to share my beautiful country with some close friends. They LOVED every minute of our stay in Iran and they felt very safe . I am hoping to take my next group of friends in May-Spring! I hope you enjoy some of the images on this page.
