Iran is known for being one of the most civilized of the Persian nations. The country is relatively safe, peaceful, and stable. Iranian people are also noted for their warm hospitality and nature. Foreigners may receive curious looks, but this is often followed by cheery waves and attempts to strike up a conversation. A friendly Spanish bunch explored Iran in a 10-day motorcycle trip and we’re so glad to hear that they had good vibes about Iran.

The burial place of Mir Ahmad son of Musa and brother of Imam Reza, Known as Shah Cheragh, is located in Shiraz. The monument has been discovered in 11th century and a shrine was built over it afterwards. The shrine was repaired during Safavid dynasty once but the major repairs was after destructive earthquakes in Qajar period. Visiting the shrine gives you serene and peaceful feeling. The multicolored reflections from mirror tiles inside the tomb is spectacular. Around the yard, several rooms with brilliant tiled works can be seen. Pillars and its flat roofs’ of shrine are made up of the exquisite wood and inlaid works .Also there are a valuable museum and library inside a shrine.

Si-o-se-pol is indeed the most popular bridge in Iran. Thirty-three arches form this lovely bridge. The bridge is a very romantic place for walking. It has a magnificent architecture and spectacular view. It is also known as Jolfa bridge. The bridge is made of bricks and stones. It is 295 meters long and 13.75 meters wide. The best place in town to see the sunset is here and Good place to see local people who are hanging around most of the time.

Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque, with its wonders, leaves every visitor speechless with surprise. The circular dome is decorated with Islamic motifs, and surprisingly enough, during daytime and according to sun’s positon, the color of the dome changes. In the morning it turns khaki, in the afternoon it turns pink and in the evening it turns gray. It’s worth noting that, a peacock is designed under the dome, the head of which is completed by the light from the arch above the dome. This is one of the most significant aspects of this mosque that attracts many tourists from all over the world. The Mosque was built in eighteen years and it is considered as a masterpiece of architecture and tiling of Safavid era.

Iranians love gardens and nature in general, and the upkeep of beautiful Eram Garden is no exception. The Bagh-e Eram (Garden of Paradise) is massively large and beautiful, at approx. 13 hectares large. There are rows upon rows of many different types of flowers, bushes, and trees. If you choose to walk the whole grounds of the site, you will be here for many hours.   Within the gardens is a large Qajar-dynasty palace (Eram Palace) which has a pool in front of it, with very intricate images lining the very ornate building.

The Chehel-sotun palace, an immense mansion was built in the early 11th century. It is the jewel of Persian art and was one of the admired masterpieces of Iran’s heritage in its time. The palace provides scenes from 400 years ago.

A reflecting pool and beautiful garden represents the finest architectural and artistic achievement through perfect harmony. The main mansion contains twenty slender columns supporting the pavilion which is named “forty columns” due to the reflection of the columns in the water of the pool.
