The Mangrove forests of Qeshm or Hara forests of Qeshm, are the mangrove forests on the southern coast of Iran, particularly on and near the island of Qeshm in the Persian Gulf. Dominated by the species Avicennia marina, known locally as the "hara" or "harra" tree, the forests represent an important ecological resource. The "Hara Protected Area" on Quesm and the nearby mainland is a biosphere reserve where commercial use is restricted to fishing (mainly shrimp), tourist boat trips, and limited mangrove cutting for animal feed.
The hara forest on Qeshm and the opposite mainland covers an area of approximately 20 km by 20 km, with many tidal channels. In 1972 the Hara Protected Area was established to preserve suitable conditions for the growth and maintenance of the forests.
The area is a major habitat for migratory birds in the cold season, and for reptiles, fish, and varieties of arthropoda and bivalves. Green (or hooked) turtles and venomous aquatic snakes are also indigenous to the forests. Bird life includes , flamingos, pelicans, and angler eagles. Another important feature of these forests is the appropriate and suitable seabed conditions for the ovulation of fish in the Persian Gulf.

The start point of the Asalem to Khalkhal nature trail is the village of Lake Tashun, which is 10 km away from the city of Asalem. Asalem is one of the western coastal cities of Gilan province, which is 90 km away from Rasht.
Then the route reaches the village of Nav and less than half an hour from the fish pond to a beautiful waterfall called Daryabin or Daryabon can be reached and finally reaches the village of Andabil in the east of Khalkhal in Ardabil province.
We walked from Asalem to Khalkhal, that is, from an altitude of 330 meters to an altitude of 2100 meters, but most hikers walk this route vice versa. The simple reason is that it is less difficult to descent more than to ascent.
The appropriate time period for traveling to Asalem to Khalkhal starts in May and continues until the first half of autumn. The tracked distance is about 31 km, which was done in two days.

The forests of Alimestan are the place where the plant “Alima” grows, which grows in May, and as it turns out, the name of Alimestan forest is taken from it.
From Alimestan village to the peak you have four and a half to five hours of forestry and mountaineering. From the peak, you can see Damavand mount to the Caspian Sea. Above, the whole forest and all the surrounding pastures, under your feet and the view of Damavand peak in front of you.
The peak is about 2510 meters high and is one of the best mountaineering options in winter. If you are a mountaineer, this peak with all the natural attractions around it will be the best option for your mountaineering trip. Along the entire eastern slope, Damavand Peak recites a hadith of strength in front of your eyes.
Perhaps most interesting of all is the Naqsh-e-Rostam area, which surprises all climbers. Before reaching the summit, two large meteorites can be seen that have created holes 10 meters deep. The natives of the region have beautiful legends about these holes. They believe that these pits are the place of Rustam’s knees, who knelt in this area and drank sea water.
Mid-spring and early autumn may be the best season to visit Alimestan, but the beautiful winter scenery can not be overlooked, provided that all the principles of winter travel are observed.

The Naryn Castle or Narin Castle is a mud-brick fort or castle in the town of , Yazd province,Iran. Structures like these constituted the government stronghold in some of the older (pre-Islamic) towns of central Iran. Some of these castles incorporate mud bricks of the Medes period and of the Achaemenid and Sassanid dynasties.
The ruins of the structure stands 40 meters (130 ft) high from its base. Although built some 2,000 years ago, it contains what seems to be a type of plumbing system (made out of a kind of mortar called sarooj) which was built into its massive walls. it has a terrace high on top of the structure whose circulation is provided by two helical stairwells (whose walls have caved in, making it inaccessible). The structure also has a large underground chamber (filled now by rubble), possibly a prison. Four towers surround the entire compound, and a large gate furnishes access to a large courtyard. The structure seems to have been the victim of numerous earthquakes throughout the ages.
Some believe that the Narin castles are descendants of ancient fire-temples; some of the castles in Narin and Meybod, in province, are also called nareng castles (orange castles), possibly by folk etymology.
This building has been built as an old fortress with 3 different floors, each for a different class of society. Although all outer gates have been destroyed the inner castle still exists. You can still see some of the outer walls.

Shahzadeh Garden, located at 35 km southeast of Kerman city, has been constructed in Qajar dynasty during 11-year old sovereignty of Abdolhamid Mirza Naseroldoleh. Shahzadeh Garden is the ninth Iranian garden that has been registered on UNESCO’s World Heritage List. Shazdeh Garden meaning Prince’s Garden is a historical Persian garden located near (6km away from) Mahan in Kerman_province, Iran.
Shazdeh garden is 5.5 hectares with a rectangular shape and a wall around it. It consists of an entrance structure and gate at the lower end and a two-floor residential structure at the upper end. The distance between these two is ornamented with water fountains .Water fountains can be seen over the land flowing from the upper ends toward lower ends on a water cascade style at Shazdeh Garden. These fountains look very beautiful and have been provided impetus by the natural incline of the place. The clever use of the natural climate of the land can be seen in this garden which is the primary aspect of every Persian garden.
The garden itself consists of a variety of pine, cedar, elm, buttonwood and fruit trees which benefit from the appropriate soil, light breezes and qanat water enable such an environment in contrast to its dry surroundings. As a result of the 6.4% slope along the garden, and its 407 meter length, a height difference of about 20 meters occurs. This natural slope has led to divisions in the garden defining the nature of the garden. The water enters the Garden at the upper end and while irrigating the trees and plants along its way, flows down through a series of steps and falls.

Cheshme Ali Inscription and Hill (Spring of Ali) is an old historical site in northern part of Rey, Tehran. This site is situated in the vicinity of some other ancient monuments such as Tughrul Tower, Rashkan castle, Rey Castle and Ebn-e Babooyeh. In the past carpet sellers believed that if people wash their carpets in this spring, it will have lighter colors because of its mineral water. Cheshme Ali Inscription is just above the spring. The inscription was carved during the rule of Fath Ali Shah, the second Qajar King. The inscription shows Fatah Ali Shah’s crowning, while he is sitting by the spring and a few men surrounding him in both sides. A group from Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and, Tourism of Tehran University and the University of Bradford excavated the Cheshme Ali Hill to estimate the cultural history, documenting, and explaining changes in the past lifestyle. Some remnants from Parthia, Sassanid and Islamic era to Timurid Empire have been discovered in this site too.
