Snæfellsbær is a municipality in the Snæfellsnes Peninsula, Iceland, and the home of Snæfellsjökull National Park. Snæfellsbær covers a big part of the Snæfellsnes Peninsula and boasts a great selection of restaurants, accommodations and leisure activities for travellers of all ages. Most residents of Snæfellsbær live in the towns of Ólafsvík, Rif and Hellissandur while the remaining residents are divided among the rural areas and smaller residential areas of Hellnar and Arnarstapi. -- The Snæfellsnes Peninsula is a region in Western Iceland, located between Reykjavík and the Westfjords.
