The Northern Lights Wake-Up call came early last night, around 10pm. The lights kept on getting stronger so around 11pm we decided to call again, we didn’t want anyone to miss the show.

We had two astronomers in our on-site observatory guiding our guests through the night sky.

Volcano eruption started in the southwest region of Iceland, the Reykjanes Peninsula 🌋

The volcanic activity is not affecting our operations at Keflavík Airport. The safety of our guests is our number one priority, and it‘s prohibited to go near the volcanic area.

The principal information regarding the eruption can be found on the website of the Civil Protection Department and the website of the Icelandic Meteorological Office. Passengers are advised to monitor flight information.
