A summer vibe on these cold days 🥶
When these beautiful birds arrive in Iceland, we know summer is here.
Puffins are one of the symbols of Iceland.
Here are the best places to watch them in the summertime in South/Southeast Iceland:
Dyrhólaey - easy access and on the way to Vik. You can do it easily by yourself. But it may be very crowded.
Ingólfshöfði - is an epic cape with a great history. You need to book a tour, but you will not be sorry.

Here comes a little backstory about the creation of this project.

Olga, professional photographer, the co-owner of Adventure Point, and author of the “Interstellar glacier hiking tour,” shares her thoughts:

“The idea of a space-themed shoot on a glacier occurred to me while I was exploring it and its scenery reminded me of Stanley Kubrick’s masterpiece, ‘2001: A Space Odyssey.’

In the past, I was fortunate enough to work in the cinema production. I witnessed the stages of producing sets and making costumes and the mesmerizing process of creating a cinematic picture.
On the other hand, the glacier was my love at first sight; I found my ideal ‘set.’ I took my friends to the glacier to work on this tour and tried various locations during summer and winter.
The glacier, same as light, is constantly changing, making each photoshoot unique. I experimented with different costume options and I’m constantly working on improving them.
This project is my passion, and I am thrilled to combine my love and work.”
