Ice Calving - Blue Iceland Ice Cave Tour

Ice calving from Vatnajokull Glacier into Jökulsárlón (Glacier Lagoon) - Blue Iceland Ice Cave Adventure Tour. Recently, on the 12th of January, we posted a video of Blue Iceland guests witnessing ice chunks break off the glacier and into the Glacier Lagoon, a process which is referred to as ice calving, also known as glacier or iceberg calving. It is truly amazing to witness such an event - here is a new video of a similar event, shot by glacier guide Tom Ballam.
