The house is in great condition for a relaxing and comfortable stay with in floor heating throughout to allow for your comfort. The location works beautifully for a quick drive into the city and provides a good starting point for scenic drives along the coastline, the golden circle, blue lagoon, the sand planes of the east and the famous Jökulsárlón glacier at the south coast. Perfect location and host
We stayed in this beautiful property for a week after Christmas and enjoyed the spectacular NYE fireworks with a panoramic view of the city.
The home is comfortable and clean, with so many thoughtful touches from the host. We used the hot tub and sauna daily, and cooked a few times in the well appointed kitchen.
It was a great home base for us to visit thermal spas, see humpbacks, chase the Northern Lights (saw them twice!) and pop in and out of Reykjavik for dinners and sight seeing.
It is clear the hosts truly care about their guests having a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!

Stunning views
Beautiful place with a stunning view of Reykjavik. A hot tub with thermal water feels amazing especially when the weather is cold. Huge comfy beds and lovely kitchen/ dining room/living room. Loved the sauna. The host was very kind and showed us around when we checked in. He was also available for any questions we had about the property. The place is huge and has lots of shelves and wardrobes to store your clothes and luggage. It's a short drive to the city centre and the grocery stores (around 10-15 minutes)

We had an incredible stay at this villa in Iceland! From the very beginning, the host was attentive and responsive, making communication leading up to our trip seamless. Upon arrival, he greeted us warmly, gave us a thorough tour of the property, and explained how to use the fantastic amenities like the hot tub and sauna. The villa itself was stunning—beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed, including supplies for cooking. The location was excellent, with convenient parking. The highlight of our stay was relaxing in the hot tub while watching the northern lights, which we were lucky enough to see three nights in a row! This was truly a memorable experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again if I return to Iceland. Highly recommend!

We stayed 4 nights in the apartment,
it is excellent! We also see aurora clearly in balcony and the sauna is so good！
Even we do not have rental car, the nearby bus stop is 5 minutes walking distance.

Sigurður’s home was the most well thought out and well equipped AirBnB that I have ever stayed in.
There were so many small touches that made our stay extra comfortable and convenient.
He was also very responsive and easy to work with. I would highly recommend booking a stay with him.

My family very much enjoyed our one night stay at the villa.
The villa is conveniently located, elegantly decorated, Nicky cleaned and well stocked. Host Sigurour was most friendly and informative.

Sigurdur is a very friendly and accommodating host who welcomed us personally and warmly. The accommodation has a fantastic location. You can look out over the city to the sea. We were able to admire the Northern Lights from the hotpot and sauna. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There was even a bar of chocolate to welcome you, as well as tea and coffee. The decor is beautiful, well thought out and stylishly designed. It is the nicest decor in an Airbnb accommodation that we have ever had. We had an all-round lovely stay and would love to come back.
