The Black Church at Búðir, known as Búðakirkja, is an iconic landmark located on the Snæfellsnes Peninsula in Iceland. The Snæfellsnes Peninsula, often referred to as "Iceland in Miniature," is a region in western Iceland renowned for its diverse landscapes, including glaciers, volcanoes, lava fields, waterfalls, and rugged coastlines. Many believe it is full of magic and may even contain the entrance to the center of the earth. Either way it offers endless photography options and Black Church at Budir, Lonsdrangar, Arnarstapi and Kirkjufell Mountain are just a few of the locations we visit on our Winter Wonders of South and West Iceland Photo workshop in February.
