The house is located by the lake Meðalfellsvatn with spectacular views and scenery on all sides. The house has two floors and a huge porch overlooking the lake and the mountains. The house is located only 100m from the lake and the bird life is varied and unique. During the winter the Northern Lights are seen very clearly in this area in the right weather conditions. The house has:

- Office with PC. Lay Z Spa Inflatable Hot Tub (up to 6 persons) available at extra cost. Two mountain bikes (male and female) with bike wagon for two kids available at extra cost. Its possible to fish in the lake and we have wild berries allaround in august. The villa is only a 5 minute walk from the the restaurant Kaffi Kjós. The owner and the staff welcome you. It has a very nice view over the lake and you can enjoy a small meal or you can just have a drink. They also offer a small selection of groceries. (They are only open on weekends in the mid winther- (but its closed from Des15-march15))
We believe our house is a good choice to enjoy the Icelandic nature and scenery e.g.
- The fjord itself, Hvalfjörður.
- Glymur, the highest waterfall in Iceland.
- Esjan, popular hiking area around Reykjavík.
- The golden circle; Þingvellir, Gullfoss, Geysir.
- Snæfellsnes peninsula and the its national park. All in all a peaceful and secluded place to stay all year around.
- 90 km (1 1/2 our drive) from the KEF airport.
- 42 km (36 min drive) to downtown Reykjavik.
