🌋 Breaking: New Volcanic Eruption on Reykjanes Peninsula!

The tenth volcanic eruption in three years has begun on the Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland. Although smaller than the last eruptions since August this year, it is still majestic and powerful.

Roads near Grindavík have been affected, but Keflavík Airport is fully operational, and there have been no flight disruptions.

Throwback to a 12-day trip in the Icelandic highlands I did last summer. This was taken deep in the Fjallabak area of the southern highlands. Lush greens and low-hanging clouds set the mood for whilst driving through the area. Just stunning. If you take a closer look, you might spot the Defender I was driving on this trip.
