Kristóffal ismerjük már egymást évek óta, de amíg vidéken laktunk, nem találkoztunk túl sűrűn, beszélgetni meg aztán végképp sose volt időnk.

Tavasszal aztán végre mi is Reykjavíkba költöztünk, de még ekkor is hónapoknak kellett eltelnie, mire volt időnk összefutni, a nyári szezon mindkettőnknek a csúcsszezon és még az ősz is eléggé elfoglalt.

Éppen ezért végül csak télen tudtunk végre úgy összejönni, hogy legyen időnk dumálni is és azonnal kiderült, hogy sok közös érdeklődésünk van, meg is beszéltük, hogy elmegyünk együtt valamerre kalandozni, forgatni.

Nem volt könnyű összehozni, de végül eljutottunk és ennek az eredményét láthatod helyenként a videóban. Bízom benne, hogy hamarosan további kalandokkal boldogítjuk egymást, meg Titeket is, csak férjen valahogy a dolog Kristóf, pontosabban a Skall Ventures naptárába!

Þorrablót – The Icelandic Midwinter Feast!

Þorrablót dates back to the pagan times when people held midwinter feasts to appease the gods and survive the harsh cold. Though banned for centuries under Christianity, the tradition was revived in the 19th century and is now one of Iceland’s most beloved winter gatherings!

Happy birthday Reykjavik! 🥳 On this day, the 18th of August in 1786, Reykjavik city was founded. It will be celebrated this Saturday on the annual city festival „Menningarnótt“, or Culture Night, with all kinds of cultural activities and events, including the Reykjavik Marathon and ending the night with a fireworks show. The festival can be said to be the highlight of Reykjavik's summer as it colours life in the city centre from morning to night 🎊🎆
