What a ride with Allan & Wayne — two awesome older photographers who joined my recent photo tour in Iceland!
We were supposed to start the itinerary from Reykjanes and head down the South Coast, but I spotted a weather window near the glacier lagoon and made a last-minute call to flip the whole plan.
Hotel switched. Route changed. Spirits high.
Picked them up at 6am on Day 1, and it turned into the longest day in my tour history — but for all the right reasons.
We chased light all day, and when the forecast stayed crystal clear, we couldn’t pass up the chance…
From 10pm to 2am, we were out at the glacier lagoon under a sky dancing with northern lights. Absolutely unreal.
The weather kept us on our toes the whole trip, but that's Iceland — unpredictable and unforgettable.
