‘Flight of the Dragon’

The beauty of the Icelandic Highlands lie in the deep colorful contrasts that thousands of years of volcanic activity has created. The craters fill with vibrant blue waters due to the precipitation from the winter snow while thousands of species of moss flourish in different shades covering the ancient mountains. It is a land of unbelievable contrasting color.

‘Ice cream cake’

The dramatic contrasts that Iceland creates time and time again blows my mind. The black sand beaches were created from lava and basalt. The ice was created from snow over hundreds to thousands of years. Together the dance between this ice and fire is what gave birth to the Iceland that we know today. A land of constant battling glaciers and volcanos.
