This Just In! Not a typical Friday to morning! The Police in Reykjavik received a report from a local, about a stray PUFFIN that was roaming in the suburbs of Reykjavik. A bit far from the Puffin Island in Faxaflói. The announcement did not say if he was injured. Let’s hope not.
Of course, two of the strongest and smartest police officers were sent to the scene to investigate further. After a short search, the Puffin was found. Mr. Puffin was happy to see these police officers and was very calm and happy with the car ride in the police car but as we have figured out, he is a very adventurous Puffin.
Mr. Puffin will soon be back in arms with his partner. Love is love

Humpback diving in Faxaflói!

When they dive they most often raise their tail above the surface, revealing their unique “fingerprints”. This black and white pattern underneath their tail can be used for identification 🐳
