Once in a lifetime event in Iceland.. kl. 8:38 - 10:39 On March 20th, early morning, the Moon will pass between Earth and the Sun, creating one of the most impressive natural phenomena of all - a total solar eclipse.

Iceland is one of the best locations to observe this extraordinary event. If viewing conditions are favorable (limited clouds), obscuration is expected to be around 97,5%.

The eclipse will start at 8:38 and last for ca. two hours, until 10:39. The eclipse will reach its maximum at 9:37.
