Eruption number 9 in the same area on Reykjanes peninsula is underway. There is no danger to human life, airports are all open and life goes on as usual. Tourism is not affected. It is safe to travel to Iceland.

Iceland Game of Thrones Tours operates guided tours to the film sets of the popular HBO TV-series in Iceland. We mostly visit GOT film sites close to Reykjavik although some 25 places were used in different parts of Iceland. The places easily reached from Reykjavik would be the film sites of the Bloody Gate, Wilding raid on Ollie’s village, duel between Brianne and the Hound over Arya, dragon goat sn**ch and more. The scenery is awesome.
You’ll learn about Iceland’s fascinating geology, geography, history and daily-life on all our tours while traveling in comfort in a registered, insured and licensed tour vehicle.
