After the restart we decided to shake things up a bit and try something a little different (for us anyway).
Instead of offering pick-ups from designated bus stops around town (like we used to), we started asking our customers to meet us at location at @aurorareykjavik
There are many reason why we decided to try this. One of the biggest and most important is depicted in this little ad we made.
The pickups have always been a source of a lot of stress and frustration (for us and customers alike).
People are often given wrong information, the city sometimes moves or closes bus stops without warning, people often have to wait for a long time at the bus stops, there is not enough shelter from the harsh elements at the bus stops, tours get delayed because of lost passengers etc. etc.
So atleast for the summer we are going to run this experiment. One month in and results are looking quite promising.
