Meet the Arctic Fox! 🦊

Check out this Arctic Fox in her dark summer coat! Did you know she changes colors with the seasons? In summer, she's this dark brown/grey to blend with rocks, and in winter, she turns white to match the snow. Her thick fur keeps her cozy in freezing temperatures, and she stores food for the winter.

Summer in Iceland means freedom for the sheep! 🐐🌞

From June to September, Icelandic sheep roam freely across the beautiful landscapes. They are super curious and love to explore. Did you know that there are less than 1,000 Icelandic sheep left? They are a rare and special breed!

Here are some fun facts:

🐐 Icelandic sheep have been here since the Viking Age.
🌿 They love to munch on fresh summer grass and wild herbs.
❄️ Their thick fur keeps them warm during the chilly Icelandic winters.

These playful sheep love the summer sun as much as we do. When in Iceland, you may see them wandering around the mountains, valleys, and roads.

Sólheimajökull is a stunning glacier you'll see on our South Coast tour. 🚌❄️

Located between the volcanoes Katla and Eyjafjallajökull, Sólheimajökull is a glacier that forms part of the larger Mýrdalsjökull glacier. It is a well-known tourist destination due to its impressive size and convenient accessibility. The glacier, which is 15 km long and 1-2 km wide, is a popular destination for many visitors.
