When is the best time to see the Northern Lights in Iceland?
Well, probably now! To see the best off the Aurora Borealis ( Northern Lights ) you need three things, darkness, clear skies, and Aurora activity.

Any week during wintertime and you have a pretty good chance of spotting some if it's not too cloudy! Camping during wintertime definitely has some rewards even though you have to dress a little bit warmer ;)

The hottest topic during this time of the month, Landmannalaugar 🏔⛰

Landmannalaugar is the usual starting point for a four-day-long hiking trail called Laugavegur! The usual four-day trail ends in Þórsmörk, but one or two days can be added, trekking then all the way to Skógar nearly at the coast via Fimmvörðuháls between the two glaciers Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull.

The Grænir skátar ♻️ ( Green Scouts ) came over today and were given 80 tents to use on their camping adventures. In an effort to keep our equipment in pristine condition we are always recycling.
The equipment is always in really good condition when being replaced so it would be sad to throw it away :)
