“Happy tours” was founded in may 2009. We have been sailing fishing boats in the rough environment of the North Atlantic Ocean since 1970. Our captain ha

s been on duty more or less for 40 years. But now we are taking care of our guests on our boat and bus. The main goal of ”Happy tours” is to provide fun, curious and educating experience for our guests. We want you to discover a new exiting angle on your environment. Be inspired by Icelandic wildlife and nature. We only take small groups (MAX 15) That gives us the opportunity to give personal service to everyone, both in fishing tours and watching tours. We offer you tours with more personal service ! Our charming old boat „SAGA“ is a 40 feet traditional fishing boat. Built of oak in Iceland 1970. It has been qualified to serve passengers. On board we have all the latest safety-equipment. Safety is our top priority. The boat is located in the heart of the Old harbour, near „Maritime museum.“ If you are coming from the city center (5-10 min walk) you shall pass the old dock (where the ships are on land for repairing) to the „Vesturhöfnin“ (Hlésgata) and you will see our sign „happytours.is“

Hotel pick up starts 1 hour before departure and we are serving the Reykjavik Capital Area (see the hotel list).

Puffins create burrows, about 90 cm (3 ft.), in rocky cliffs either in the soil or between rocks. Often, couples will return to the same burrow year after year. At the back of the burrow, they build a nest lined with grasses, seaweed, and feathers. After the female lays a single egg, both parents take turn incubating the egg for about 40 days.
