d our guides are well connected and will go the extra mile to show you something you are particularly interested in. Not always scripted in the itinerary they might go off piste and visit the likes of a geothermal power plant, strawberry farmer or even the local Ice cream shop and then you will know why Icelanders queue outside in -5 degrees Celsius during winter to get their Ice cream. Farmer’s that makes wool sweaters or let you taste Icelandic pancakes or visit a geothermal tomato farm and have, go figure, tomato soup where the tomatoes are grown – and this is just to name a few!. We want you to be around the Icelandic people who are known for their hospitality so you can see them smile with their hearts.

Reykjavik is the northernmost capital city in the world, it is located at 64°08‘N, just two degrees south of the Arctic Circle.

During the winter months it experiences its darkest and longest days. The winter solstice, on December 21, daylight lasts for only 4 hours and in reverse , of course, in the summer the sun barely sets. At the summer solstice in June, Reykjavík gets 21 hours and 11 minutes of daylight, even the remaining 2 hours and 49 minutes are not completely dark!

As we start to come out of what feels like a very long winter - we can see spring on the Horizon.

Skogafoss is a waterfall in the south of Iceland, as it crashes over the cliffs of the former coastline. The water from Skogafoss comes directly from two glaciers, Eyjafjallajokull and Myrdalsjokull.

Like the rest of the world, Iceland is still battling Covid-19. Although Iceland remains open for foreigners coming from within the Schengen Area, there are strict rules to follow. We are happy to assist anyone who would like to travel during this difficult time whilst we wait for things to slowly come back to normal.
Meanwhile we’re happy to announce that PTI was recently awarded the stamp ‘2020 Excellent in Iceland’. Making PTI one of only 2,8% of Icelandic companies to fulfill the strict conditions, consisting of various financial factors, set by Viðskiptablaðið (The Icelandic business magazine) and Keldan (Business and Stock news) to qualify as Excellent in Iceland.
Although 2020 has proven difficult in many ways we’re happy to receive a recognition for the hard work we’ve been doing over the past years, whilst doing the thing we love. This year has certainly been a lesson for us all, and we would love our clients to come to Iceland when they are ready and feel safe to do so. Stay safe and healthy.
