Visiting Hofsós should be on everyone’s bucket list!

Hofsá river runs through the small town Hofsós. Once upon a time, it was one of the busiest trading ports in North Iceland but did not evolve to become a bigger town like many others in North Iceland. It's one of the most picturesque towns though, with a beautiful basalt column shore.

Yesterday was Sumardaginn fyrsti (First Day of summer) in Iceland. Which is a national holiday in Iceland, but just because it's officially summer now doesn't mean that the snow is gone.
Still enough snow at Skíðasvæði Tindastóls for a great weekend of skiing.

Opið verður á skiðasvæði Tindastóls frá 12-19! Hér er vor færi og glampandi sól!
