Tutto cominciò con Dove Viaggi, tanti anni fa, non smetto mai di ringraziare Carlotta Lombardo, che mi ha insegnato la differenza che fa una vera giornalista, e ritrovarmi sulla Guida dedicata alla SICILIA 2025 alla sezione ACTIVE (pag.36) e leggere la definizione dei miei tour come trekking gastronomici dalle Isole Eolie alle montagne dei Nebrodi e Peloritanii, all’Etna fino al sud, è una soddisfazione che dedico alla mia terra, che scopro e riscopro camminando e rispettando la Natura e l’origine del suo cibo, servito a tavola come una volta senza compromessi, e a tutti i siciliani discendenti dei siculi e dei sicani, e grazie per tutti i passi che i miei ospiti sacri mi hanno permesso di fare fino a qui. We called this experience Scicli and Food Forest, in which we combined the love for showing what is behind the scene and main squares, and the deep bound of Ragusa with traditional farming, the one that tells of family stories, history of South Sicily and the courage of brave youngs who believe in a still-authentic and greener future, plastic-free.
We tasted the best food we could be offered, we walked in the field of Russello grain which the family makes the flour of our pasta with, belonging to the family since 1799.
Sicily is not a story to tell, is history to share.
Thank you to all our guests that make our Sicily possible.

Tra la Sicilia e Dublino il viaggio di Martina ha fatto sosta, super voluta, a Filicudi. Abbiamo affidato ai passi i desideri realizzabili estendendo la volontà del cuore anche alla mente, e al coraggio, tra cielo e terra, questi cielo e terra, del Mediterraneo della nostra Sicilia speciale.
"L'abbaiare di un cane, qui si sente".
"Non sentivo i tuoni da tanto tempo così vicini" mi ha detto, con gli occhi di chi cerca la bellezza autentica del suono e della vita.
E tanto altro la Natura ci dice, e noi solo imparando a camminare sui nostri passi, possiamo avvicinarci a Lei.
Grazie per aver camminato insieme a me.
