Una settimana d'inverno sull'isola che c'è, dove il tempo ha il suo valore, dove tra cielo e terra tutto può succedere e succede, dove tutto il mondo può arrivare e lo scambio non finire mai, come le maree, il vento, e il piacere finalmente del fuoco delle stufe e dei forni a pietra che fanno il pane, la pizza e i dolci per chi questa comunità la vive e la sceglie.

This was my Winter week on the island, where time has a value, where everything can happen and it happens between the sky and the earth, where all the world arrive and sharing is endless, like the flow of the sea and the blowing of the wind, and when finally the stoves and stone wood ovens turn their live fire on to make bread, pizza and cookies for the community that we enjoy and choose every day.

The , the mountains of Ae**us that watch the Aeolian Islands, at every sunrise and sunset. So green, so bound to the land, and so close to beautiful sandy beaches, of an extraordinary food authenticity that every time brings me back to my childhood, when food had the flavours of the fresh soil and air around me.
If you dare to explore the unpopular places, you meet incredible knowledgable people, you meet family, meet uncontaminated nature, you meet that Sicily that is still hold in the hearts of Sicilians, native or adopted or related to it, who love it no matter what.
I Nebrodi, le terre di Eolo, che guardano le Isole Eolie dall'alba al tramonto. Di un verde lussureggiante, così legate alla terra, vecchi e giovani, e così vicini a spiagge di sabbia bellissime. Tra le vie dalle case profumi di cucina che sa di famiglia accendono i sensi e il buon umore, e mi riportano indietro nel tempo quando il cibo aveva sempre il profumo e il sapore della terra e dell'aria attorno a me.
Se osi esplorare i posti meno conosciuti, dove non va nessuno, incontri persone con una preparazione storica e antropologica incredibile, ti ritrovi in famiglia, circondato da una natura incontaminata, e ti ritrovi in quella Sicilia che conserviamo nel cuore, noi siciliani, nativi, adottati ed emigrati, che la amano a prescindere da tutto.
