Wow. Il nostro Tour di Capodanno è stato un melting pot di persone (inaspettato), di argomenti spazianti, di pesce e cibo meraviglioso, compagnia e scoperte rigeneranti, passeggiate belle circondati dal verde, panorami, albe e tramonti da togliere il respiro, ricordi e propositi, punti di vista, confronti internazionali, domanda e risposte, racconti di storie, follie e primi baci. Non saprei da dove cominciare a ricordare, ma forse si dai: dalle risate.
Wow! Our New Year's Eve Tour was an extraordinary melting pot of people, talks, fish and amazing food, international company (from Sicily, Poland and Japan), discoveries, walks in Winter green, views over sunrises and breathtaking sunsets, sharing memories from the past and projects for the future, quations and answers, narration of stories, crazy adventures and first kisses. I do not really know where to start rememebering, but maybe I am not wrong if I do from laughs.

Voglio augurare la felicità, che non è una parola facile, perché racchiude uno stato d’animo così intimo che solo dentro di noi possiamo sentirla e godercela scegliendo ciò che ci fa stare bene. La felicità può rivelarsi nei momenti meno cercati, quelli che capitano all’improvviso e può durare un attimo soltanto: un momento di riposo profondo, ritrovarsi con la propria famiglia o da solo dove vuoi essere, in volo e a casa sul divano, nell’orto o davanti al computer. Può seguire un successo, il realizzarsi di un progetto, un si, ma anche un bel no. Può esistere nello scoprire che hai ottenuto quello che volevi, ma anche sapere quello che non vuoi più. Ma soprattutto è frutto di uno tra i più importanti insegnamenti della mia maestra di vita, quando mi diceva: “signora, due sono i coraggi che servono nella vita: riuscire a stare da soli; riuscire ad essere felici”.
Io voglio regalare a tutto il mondo un solo momento di felicità, ovunque voi siate, oggi e sempre, per ricordarvi con il sorriso vero.
Dedicato a tutti i miei ospiti del 2024.

I wish everybody Happiness, which is not an easy word at all. It is an intimate state of mind, that we can perceive only by choosing what makes us feeling good. It can appear unexpectedly and lasts a few seconds, when you finally rest, when you are home with your family or alone where you want to be, in the fields or in front of a computer. It can follow a great success, it can be having a project, it can be a “yes” or a big “no”. You may be happy because you have reached what you wanted or got to know what you do not want ever again. But, above all, it was one of the most important goals my master of life gave me when she once told me: “madam, two are the courages that we need in life: being alone; being happy”.
I want to share my happiness with people from all over the world, just to see them smiling happy for a moment, that impresses my time with beautiful memories forever.

Una settimana d'inverno sull'isola che c'è, dove il tempo ha il suo valore, dove tra cielo e terra tutto può succedere e succede, dove tutto il mondo può arrivare e lo scambio non finire mai, come le maree, il vento, e il piacere finalmente del fuoco delle stufe e dei forni a pietra che fanno il pane, la pizza e i dolci per chi questa comunità la vive e la sceglie.

This was my Winter week on the island, where time has a value, where everything can happen and it happens between the sky and the earth, where all the world arrive and sharing is endless, like the flow of the sea and the blowing of the wind, and when finally the stoves and stone wood ovens turn their live fire on to make bread, pizza and cookies for the community that we enjoy and choose every day.
