Envie d'une escapade colorée et ensoleillée ? Rendez-vous à Monopoli, un petit bijou des Pouilles situé à moins de 30 minutes de Truly Trulli !
Explorez ses ruelles pittoresque et ses nombreuses places.
Admirez la basilique de la Madonna della Madia, cathédrale catholique romaine;
le Castello di Carlo V, magnifique forteresse perchée sur la côte de la ville construit au XVIe siècle, architecture typique de la Renaissance;
le Porto Antico avec ses bateaux traditionnels bleus et rouges.

Pour une pause gourmande et rafraichissante, vous trouverez facilement votre bonheur. On aime beaucoup le Restorante Piazza Palmieri, sur une très belle place à l'intérieur de la vieille ville. Il parait que le Locanda sul Porto pour des fruits de mer délicieux vaut aussi le détour.
Pour finir en beauté, il gelato chez Caffè Roma. Vous trouverez de nombreux glaciers mais celui-ci est un véritable QG de famille. Et le parfum Perla del Sud, un must !

Truly Trulli offers various options for you to book the most suitable house for your needs and desires.

This typical house is located just a five-minute drive from the town of Alberobello, nestled in the heart of the countryside. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat, you're already off to a great start. 🌳

The property boasts a beautiful exterior and two renovated buildings. Enjoy the fresh air on the expansive white stone terrace, by the pool and relaxation area, in the vegetable garden, and with games for the little ones. Barbecue facilities are also available. What more could you ask for to experience the Apulian breeze? Live like the farmers who spent most of their time outdoors, retreating to their trullo only for shelter and sleep. 🏡🌞

The interiors consist of two independent and autonomous buildings named Amani and Kito. The entire property can accommodate up to ten people with 5 bedrooms (one in a loft), 3 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, and a spacious living area. Truly Trulli's thick walls will keep you cool in summer and warm in winter (and if it gets really chilly, you can light a fire and enjoy the underfloor heating). Truly Trulli can host up to 10 people.

Don't need so many rooms? It's possible to rent just one building.

Amani is the central part of Truly Trulli with the most trulli, exposed stones both outside and throughout the interior without exception. The accommodation has spacious areas compared to the trulli you can visit in Alberobello. Internal walls have indeed been knocked down to widen the spaces and provide more comfort. However, the bedroom spaces have retained their original size. In addition to two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a large living area, Amani has an upper floor accessible via a trapdoor that opens from below. This room has been arranged as an additional bedroom (for teenagers or young adults) = you'll sleep in a trullo in the truest sense of the word. This building, accommodating a maximum of 6 people, is ideal for families with young children. 🛏️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Kito consists of a building with a well-equipped outdoor kitchen. It was once the house's old kitchen and stable. You'll also find two large bedrooms, each with a bathroom. The two rooms are separated by a small living room with a TV. This house can accommodate up to 4 people and is perfect for couples or friends. 🍽️🛋️

Tanta Puglia a New York: dal 15 al 17 novembre la Regione sarà presente all’ottava edizione de “La settimana della Cucina Italiana nel Mondo” in cui vengono promossi prodotti agroalimentari italiani di qualità.

“Porteremo a New York prodotti che provengono da produzioni sostenibili, biologiche e certificate - sostiene l’assessore all’Agricoltura della Regione Puglia, Donato Pentassuglia - perché il cibo di qualità tutela la salute”.

Agli eventi di New York saranno presenti quattro chef pugliesi che illustreranno a 15 executive chef americani le modalità operative della cucina pugliese, all’insegna della valorizzazione del cibo buono e sano.

A partir de la 17ième minute, vous pouvez retrouver le reportage sur Lecce.
A la 31ième minute, de superbes images de l'archipel de Tremiti et un peu d'histoire. Ces îles se trouvent à une demi-heure au large des côtes des Pouilles.

En français mais il est possible d'ajouter des sous-titres dans votre langue.

I Trulli sono edifici composti da un cilindro sormontato da un cono, con la particolarità di essere costruiti prettamente in pietra a secco, senza l’utilizzo di malta o altri materiali di collegamento. Nonostante la forma semplice e i mezzi di costruzione molto primitivi, essi raggiungono una statica ammirevole, tanto da risultare architettonicamente perfetti. Nel 1996, i trulli di Alberobello sono diventati patrimonio dell’umanità Unesco.
La ristrutturazione degli antichi trulli, così come quella delle vecchie Masserie, ha coniugato la tradizione con l’ospitalità e dato origine a nuove esperienze abitative. Dormire in un trullo, così come dormire in una Masseria, è oggi possibile grazie al lavoro di recupero delle vecchie strutture, riportate a nuova vita pur mantenendo intatto il loro fascino originario.

Mais connaissez-vous l'histoire de la taranta, cette danse traditionnelle de la région des Pouilles? Allez, je vous raconte.

La « Taranta » fait référence à la tarentule, puis à cette danse originaire des Pouilles qui est dansée suite à la « morsure » d’une tarentule. Aujourd’hui cette danse est nommée pizzica pizzica .

Son nom est tiré de la « maladie » qui sévissait du 15ème au 17ème siècle, près de Tarente qui est située dans la région du Salento . On la croyait causée par la morsure d’une « tarentule ». Les « symptômes » (sorte de folie convulsive) étaient alors soignés par de la musique (tambourin et violon) et par une danse bien particulière: la tarentelle. Le tarentisme est une forme de transe, similaire à certains rituels d'Afrique.

Autre trait caractéristique du Salento et de la Taranta, le bilinguisme. La dénommée Grèce salentine, composée de treize villages, est une île à l'intérieur des terres où l'on parle depuis l'époque byzantine une langue héritée du grec ancien : le griko. «Il ne reste que quelques dizaines d'anciens à le pratiquer couramment, mais les chants en griko forment une partie du répertoire du Canzoniere.

Aujourd’hui, son rôle thérapeutique s’est perdu (quoiqu'écouter ou danser la taranta vous fera un bien fou!), mais cette tarentelle se danse encore et fait plus que jamais partie du patrimoine culturel de l’Italie du Sud.
