We bought Andrea Jensen here, as an established day sailing charter buisness. Sardinia has a lot to offer. Mediteranean Island life is relaxing and very laid back. Why not come over this summer to Alghero, Sardinia and check out Andrea Jensen. We live aboard for 8 months and do daily Sailing excursions with customers from all over the globe. Every day is different. We fell in love with the rugged charm of Andrea Jensen and Sardinia. Stepping aboard, you can feel her 86 year, sea fairing history and immediately feel safe and at home. Everyone who comes out sailing on her never fail to fall in love with her too. She has been lovingly restored and is extremely sea worthy, MCA part 1 registered and commercially coded. We feel truely blessed to have had 9 wonderful years as her custodians and are ready now to sell her on to the next generation, who we hope will equally appreciate, love and care for her as much as we have. Sails bent on this morning before it got too hot!

Great morning for bending on the mizzen and main sails today. No wind and before it gets too hot! It was 31C yesterday, which is unbearable for working in. Once the sails are on (all 5 of them), we are ready to rock 'n' sail folks. We start our day trips next week from Alghero, Sardinia. So, just to keep you updated, we have been really busy in the winter 'off season with maintenance and upgrading on Andrea Jensen. We have removed 3, old, steel tanks from the engine room., deck repairs, bright works repairs, both masts cleaned, sanded and painted, sail repairs and next week we have Gardner engineers over to do an engine overhaul. That's just some of the things we have been up to! We could not do this without help from friends and volunteers, so thanks very much and hope to see many of you onboard this summer on Andrea Jensen in Sardinia

We have been delighted to welcome Felix and Evann from France aboard Andrea Jensen this week. They have been amazing volunteers, especially happy to hang around up the mizzen mast yesterday and main mast today, cleaning, sanding and painting. This work is labour intensive but essential!
