Our lobby has been designed to give you a sense of home, a safe space to unwind. Each piece of furniture is studied in detail: the marbles hanging on the wall come from an ancient castle in Tuscany, as well as the sideboard. The "testa di moro" on the table comes of course from Caltagirone in Sicily, famous for its ceramics.

Earlier last month we decided to fully redesign our logo and update our brand identity. We wanted it to embody the spirit of our unique mansion and its centenary history. We thought of a peculiar feature of our interior decoration, a special touch of the Italian tradition that stands out as soon as you cross the doorstep of our Villa. That detail is the “ceramiche di Vietri” that covers our floor at the entrance.

Fan fact: Vietri has been famous for its majolica for centuries, and these splendid materials even cover the altars, cupola, and the cusp of the Parish Church of St. John the Baptist, dating to 1732. Walking Vietri’s lanes and corridors is a series of continuous surprises, and it becomes routine to see many buildings decorated in the local tile. In Vietri, the colors of the ceramics varnishes and shellacs blend amazingly well with the natural scenery, as can be seen in the tiled walls (both exterior and interior) of the houses, or inlaid in the roads and alleyways of this old borgo.
