Feeling insite - Cetara.

A day dedicated to the discovery of the territory and its traditions at Roberto and Mena's home, in Cetara

They welcome us to their wonderful lemon grove and they teach us the techniques of cultivation and maintenance of lemon, the sfusato amalfitano, the yellow gold of the Amalfi Coast.

To Follow, a ceramic workshop to learn the basic techniques of painting
and then,
to top the cake,
a fun outdoor cooking lesson: hands in dough to produce simple lemon-scented flour gnocchi matched with lemon zest, parsley and garlic, and, for lovers, a touch of anchovy sauce.

A delicious local specialties to be enjoyed in the regenerating atelier on the banks of the stream.

Today The Sheperd Antonio has Welcome to his refuge, in the middle of the Path of the Gods.

A dive into the past to rediscover the authenticity of peasant traditions, from the milking of sheep and the production of cheeses to the cultivation of the piennolo tomatoes and the production of bread and preserves based on seasonal veggies.

A five-senses experience that combines trekking along one of the most fascinating paths of the Divine Costa, the history and legend of the mythical spots and food and wine itineraries that here brings to light ancient recipes handed down for generations.

The harvest of grapes is the village party, the day where families, friends, tourists meet all together to celebrate the fruits of the earth.

Today we were in Scala, at the small elegant run by the Cavaliere family.

Unique location where we organize cooking classes, zero km tours and today, we were there for harvesting.

At 9.30 am it is time for the first break, la "marenna" a sandwich with the omelette of their hens and a glass of local red wine. The baskets are filled with bunches and you can hear Ciccio giving instructions to all of us, the amiable chirping of aunt Giulia and aunt Teresa, the thundering voice of Antonio explaining to our guests Paul and Rebecca the great daily work of the family in the orchard.

Thank you, for this moment full of love!!!

Today We present
THE LEMON EXPERIENCE

The entire coast is dotted with ancient jewels, our yellow gold: lemon trees. Hectares of terraced land are dedicated to the cultivation of this citrus fruit.

Amalfi lemons are famous for their big, tapered shape, known locally as “sfusata”

The experience will feel you imbedded in the land including a private visit to lemon gardens guided by the owners who will explain the techniques of cultivating, harvesting, preparing and processing the lemons, as well as the various uses of the fruit.

The activities continues to the lab where famous Limoncello liquor is produced, and participants can taste the results.

The lemon garden is a beautiful spot placed in a quiet area of Amalfi, la Valle dei Mulini.

It is the perfect place where we organize lots of local esperiences such like cooking class based on ancient lemon recepts, exclusive wine paired lunches and, brand new, a honey class experience

Guests will walk through the terraced gardens up to the highest point where, so silent and laborious, bees produce their sweet honey and will taste 3 types of honey with a combination of local cheeses.

Icing on the cake is Yoga class under lemon trees to re-harmonizate body and the soul.

Cetara Experience

Cetara, the fisher village and our local experience in - site. The village derives its name from cetarius, the last active tuna fishing fleet on the coast. This is a lovely small town characterized by its houses set in the rock that recall the scenography of the nativity scenes.

The local speciality, the colatura anchovy sauce, was invented by local monks. This amber liquid is aa product of the anchovy drying process. What we propose here recalls ancient art of tuna fishing.

Exclusive visit on board the Tonnara, the large boat recently opened to the public dedicated to fishing for bluefin tuna and anchovies. The fishermen will explain the fishing techniques and the hundred-year-old techniques of processing products such as anchovy, bottarga and fillets.

This is followed by a short guided walk the small village and tasting of typical products in a characteristic local restaurant inside a sea – view grotto managed by a family of bluefin tuna and anchovies fishermen for four generations.

An experience that combines history, tradition, passion and undisputed excellence.
