Growing up in the sun-drenched hills of Italy, two brothers were surrounded by the vibrant scent of lemon trees that filled the air around their family’s home. These lemons, with their bright, zesty flavors, became a cherished part of their childhood. As they grew older, the brothers decided to channel their love for these lemons into a shared passion: creating their own limoncello. Drawing on traditional recipes and the rich legacy of their region, they perfected their craft, blending the freshest lemons with pure alcohol and a touch of sugar. Their limoncello not only captures the essence of the lemons they grew up with but also tells the story of their deep bond and love for their Italian heritage.

Intitolato “La madre”, il quadro evoca un senso di protezione e nutrimento. Il polpo, spesso simbolo di intelligenza e adattabilità, qui rappresenta la figura materna come fonte di saggezza e forza. Le sue braccia avvolgenti sembrano accogliere e proteggere, trasmettendo un messaggio di cura e amore incondizionato.

Il quadro raffigura un granchio blu, simbolo potente di resurrezione e rinascita. Come l’uomo che lascia le spoglie mortali per una nuova vita, il granchio compie la muta, liberandosi del vecchio guscio per rinnovarsi. La sua presenza è resa ancora più significativa dall’ambiente in cui è dipinto: fogli di libri destinati al macero. Questi libri, una volta considerati inutili, trovano nuova vita e significato come tela per l’opera d’arte, riflettendo il tema centrale della trasformazione e del rinascere. Il granchio blu, con il suo colore vibrante, emerge vividamente dal contesto, sottolineando il ciclo eterno di morte e rinascita. Dimensioni: 50x70
