A comfortable 'home from home' holiday apartment 5 minutes' drive from Bellagio. Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms. I left behind plenty of home comforts.

Until 2010 this apartment was my home.I left it only for work related reasons and. When I stay there myself, in visitor mode, I appreciate all over again how comfortable and homely it is! The high ceilings and tiled floors throughout keep it cool in the summer but central heating and a log-burning stove make it perfectly cosy in the winter too. ng and summer but the rest of the year it still enjoys blue skies and has plenty to offer. Watch the sun set on the Grigne mountains from the little balcony, maybe sipping an aperitivo! There are 3 restaurants/ pizzerias within easy walking distance. Self-catering is no problem as the kitchen is perfectly equipped for keen chefs and there is a well-stocked grocery a few steps away. Enjoy breakfast Italian style with tempting pastries and brioches from the bakery across the piazza and an espresso from the apartment’s own coffee machine or maybe pop over to the local café and order a cappuccino. I have yet to have a guest who hasn't commented on those morning pastries, by the way! There iis ample wardrobe space, good lighting, mirrors galore and the details you wouldn't expect from a holiday home - from a Nespresso coffee machine to candles for you to create a romantic atmosphere. The master bedroom has a King size bed. Mattresses are extremely comfortable as are the feather pillows (synthetic available too in the event of allergies)

After a day out around the lake, maybe you'll spend the evening just relaxing in the apartment. Both SkyTV and internet are included in the rental price. A range of DVDs and books is at your disposal. A printer and fax machine are availablein case you have to keep in touch with the office. Free parking is available a minute’s walk from the apartment.

One of my favourite spots...and what a great photo!

The 53 acres Park which covers the Bellagio Promontory belongs to the Foundation Rockefeller since 1959, when the Princess Ella Walker Della Torre e Tasso decided to donate her property to the Foundation. It now offers hospitality to artists and scientists from all over the world.
Congratulation for the first 60 years of the Bellagio Center!!

The hill of Magreglio is known among cyclists of all ages and from all over the world to be one of the fundamental step of the Giro di Lombardia and one of the historical passages of the Giro d'Italia.
Every year, thousands of tourists and sportsmen wish to visit the Sanctuary of the Madonna del Ghisallo, the monument to the cyclist and finally the Cycling Museum.

Spring is definitely in the air. This is one of my favourite spots in Bellagio. It is worth the visit for the views alone, let alone the magnificent garden.

VILLA SERBELLONI GARDENS - opening: 19th March

Villa Serbelloni is one of the several villas mirroring into Lake Como, with its great park extending on the promontory of Bellagio.
You can walk in a lush park where you can see cypresses, olive trees, hedges shaping the terraces, geometric flowerbeds and subtropical species.
From here you can enjoy the spectacular view on the Lake Como and its two branches: a panorama of extraordinary beauty.

Our Story

Until 2010 this apartment was my home.I left it only for work related reasons and I am now living in the Sabina area just north of Rome, surrounded by the olive groves. I left behind plenty of home comforts. When I stay there myself, in visitor mode, I appreciate all over again how comfortable and homely it is! It is great to be able to share it with guests from all over the world now.

The location is Visgnola, one of Bellagio’s many hamlets. Guests love the authenticity, the views and the fact that they are mingling with locals and not just tourists. You can spend hours sitting on the small balcony watching the rhythm of daily life. From the same spot, you can see the sun set over the impressive Grigne mountains.

The high ceilings and tiled floors throughout keep it cool in the summer but central heating and a log-burning stove make it cosy in winter too. Bellagio traditionally attracts visitors in the spring and summer but the rest of the year it still enjoys blue skies and has plenty to offer.
