This is still one of my all time favorite photos, it was taken by our daughter who at the time would end up with hundreds of photos of our pets on her digital camera, often close ups of the dogs nose.
This is Misha, she became part of our life and I loved her dearly. Her legacy lives on with Mabel and also Mintie.
It's the door that gets me, creaking, old, worn and weathered, protecting us all, a constant reminder of just how lucky we are to live here.
