Paolo Calvaruso (A.K.A. Groove Empathy) discovers his passion for DJing in 2014, approaching and falling in love with the psy movement.
In fact, the first mixing experiences involved all kind of Psy genres, finally arriving to the beloved Zenonesque/Dark Prog music along side all kind of Downtempo and Chill-Out music.
After two years he feels the need to expand his musical selection to all his beloved musical genres, moving away from the prevalence of electronic music and starting to melt it with old and contemporary sounds, to create combinations ever more stimulating and unexpected for listeners' ears.
Now the best way to express himself and his musical empathy is, whithout any doubt, playing Chill-Out/Alternative DJsets.
In 2016 joins the Fractal Forest Family as DJ and Alternative Stage Manager for family's Party!
In 2018 he creates the project Earthbeatz, to promote downtempo and alternative electronic music organizing low cost parties!
In 2019 he joins forces and start co-operating and organizing parties with Out of Control PsyFamily!
By now Groove Empathy brought his music in parties and festivals like 7Chakras Festival, Shankra Festival, Atlas Gathering, in Italy and all over Europe (Swiss, Spain, Denmark, ...).
Groove Empathy DJset's are never prepared, the musical selection's improvised on the spot, in order to fit the situation and follow the dancefloor vibes at the best of his capability!

Paolo Calvaruso (A.K.A. Groove Empathy) scopre la passione per il DJing nel 2014, avvicinandosi e innamorandosi del movimento Psy.
Le prime esperienze di missaggio infatti toccavano solamente sonorità elettroniche Psy di tutti i generi, approdando in ultimo al genere Zenonesque/Dark Prog prediletto assieme anche a tutte le sonorità Downtempo e Chill-Out.
Dopo due anni sente però il bisogno di espandere la sua selezione a tutti i generi musicali da sempre amati, scostandosi dalla prevalenza di musica elettronica per fonderla a sonorità vecchie e/o contemporanee, al fine di creare accostamenti sonori sempre più stimolanti e inaspettati per le orecchie degli ascoltatori.
Ormai è senza dubbio tramite i DJset Chill-Out/Alternative che riesce veramente a esprimere se stesso e l'affinità musicale.
Dal 2016 entra a far parte della Fractal Forest Family come DJ e Alternative Stage Manager per gli stessi eventi della Family.
Nel 2018 fonda il progetto Earthbeatz, nato per promuovere la musica elettronica downtempo alternativa organizzando parti low-cost!
Nel 2019 unisce le forze e inizia a organizzare feste con Out of Control PsyFamily.
Ad ora, Groove Empathy ha portato la sua musica in feste e festival come il 7Chakras Festival, Shankra Festival, Atlas Gathering, in Italia e altri paesi Europei (Svizzera, Spagna, Danimarca, ...).
I DJset di Groove Empathy non sono mai preparati prima, la selezione viene improvvisata sul momento, in modo da potersi adattare alla situazione e seguire il mood della dancefloor al meglio delle sue capacità!
